I had a long wait for my 2015 WRX limited but David made it a point to shoot me a text almost every week updating me on the status of my vehicle. When my vehicle arrived he called me with the good news and I went in to pick it up and David did everything in his power to get me the best price and get me out of there as quickly as he could! David Castillo took me through the vehicles I could afford, explained what were the fine points and continued to work for me until I was satisfied with my choice. He even delivered it to me the next day, what a guy! I was also impressed with the fact that Lithia Subaru is so involved in community activities and projects. It is great to see a business supporting its community in ways other than what is expected of it. Congratulations Lithia Subaru....you are good for Oregon City community. More

Once I test drove the Forester and Outback I new I wanted a Forester. I told David the only option I really cared about was heated seats. He suggested I could get a base model and add the heated seats at a much lower price than the premier package. More
A major effort to resolve service issues The short- 75% of my experiences with Lithia have been very poor, 25% have been fantastic. But today, with just 15 extra seconds of customer service Ryan saved my engine from being destroyed by my lack of attention to detail. The long boring detailed part- My salesman, David Castillo, sold me a new car he did not listen to my needs during the sale and was hyper focused on getting me out the door. He was so intent on this that he lied about my financing. He also sold an add on product that has not worked well for me and was not intended for the use I planned. He sold it to me without telling me the coverage would be void if I used it for my work. I made it VERY clear I intended to use it for work, he said that it would be perfect for work. Luckily, I never did use it for my job... I needed service related to the coverage I purchased around christmas 2014. It was one of the worst service experiences of my life. I was bullied, blackmailed and ignored for about three weeks. I was flat out told that Lithia didn't want to see me again. I don't ever yell, make a scene or use dirty words. I have been honest and reasonable through this entire transaction with Lithia. After being ignored for a week by the salesman, Val Brown, who got involved in my car's service, (not sure why he jumped in) -this is the same man that bullied and told me he would not be able to service the contract I paid for a year before if I left up my true and honest poor review on this site- I got a follow up call asking how my experience was. I explained my problem to Anita and was so relieved when she told me she would bring it to the service manager's attention and that he would call me. No call back came though. About four days later I managed to get in touch with her again. She was quite cold and told me I would need to resolve this with Val Brown; the same employee that didn't return my messages and clearly wanted me to never set foot there again. I called again and got no response. So I contacted corporate. They promised me that someone would call me and help. No one did. So I called corporate after a day and talked to someone who, somehow, managed to get the service manager to call me. Amazing that Val Brown was suddenly able to return my calls, I missed his call though, and ended up connecting with the service manager, Ryan. Ryan listened to my issues, promised to look into it and generally was what I had first expected of Lithia- a person that took responsibility for an issue and followed it through to a resolution. It took interactions with three other people to find that kind of person. In the beginning, Ryan denied me service because he'd been told my car had been used for "heavy commercial vererinary use". This confused me as I've only transported my two dogs in my car. I told Ryan this. He said he would take a look at my car and judge for himself. Perfect, that didn't worry me at all. He looked at it. I asked, point blank, it it looked like heavy commercial veterinary use. He said no, and that he'd been seriously mislead as to the condition of my car. Wow. As of today, 1/19/15 my car has been serviced, another major disaster averted because Ryan took an extra 15 seconds to tell me the $400 (?differential?) service I'd declined severral months ago at my last service appointment included an oil change that needed to be done. -With 15 seconds of customer cervice Ryan saved my engine from needing to be replaced- Let me repeat, 15 SECONDS. Overall, I'm happy my car is back. It would have been nice to get an apology from any of the employees that failed to take responsibility anhelp me, or from the salesman who lied in the first place. I'd feel better about doing business with them in the future. At this point I still couldn't say that I'd buy from this dealer again because none of this should have happened period. But I can say I'm no longer upset at the dealership because my problem was resolved. More
