In the emails and on the phone we were told a price of $18,000. So we came in test drove the car and said OK we'll take it. Then they found out we didn't need financing and the paperwork got picked up and the manager came out. Now apparently because we didn't want financing from them they wanted $1000 more. We refused and they said $500 more or no deal. So we showed him the email with the price agreement at $18,000. He said that was only because we mentioned a phone call stating the price which we had no proof of and he doubted had happened. We told him we were absolutely told that price on the phone and didn't back down. He very snidely said well let's just listen to the recording of that phone call and see then. He played it and he heard the salesman say they would not let the car go for "less" than $18000, the exact price we offering and they had agreed to in the email. Then manager the turned to us with a straight face and said see we told you we would not sell it for "less" than $18,000 not that we would sell it to you "for $18,000" now give us an extra $500 and we'll close this deal. We walked away. It was one of the sleaziest bait and switch moves I have ever encountered, they should be ashamed. Three days later they listed the car for $17,950. $50 under what we had offered them. Run away from this dealer. Integrity is not in their vocabulary. More

Mr. Gene Rude is the best Car Sales Manager ever dealt with! I bought a Crosstrek this past weekend after taking a 8 week delivery process. I put a deposit down with an agreed pricing via email exchange with Gene and others. There was no BS in the negotiation and deal was set via email and promised and delivered! I was hesitant at first given my car shopping experience with other brands like Toyota and Nissan. This is my first Subaru and will not be my last from Oregon City Subaru! I've been car shopping with family for different cars before - econo to exotic and this is one of the best shopping experiences ever. Scott is the Finance Manager and was very hospitable and dealt with the transaction very easy going and also recommended value based services. I recommend! Gene is great guy and I will keep in touch and recommend others to buy Subarus from him. I was also given a quick tour of the Subaru dealer and different departments that will eventually come back to service the vehicle with or to order parts. Don't look at other dealers, as I have literally called and emailed every Oregon Subaru dealer possible. Oregon City Lithia Subaru will take care of you. More

He didn't put any pressure on us, just provided us with information and answered our questions. I think my husband would have left right away if he was any other way. Instead, Matt's demeanor made us come back the same day to buy the car even though my husband told me when we started looking that day that we wouldn't be purchasing anything today. I would highly recommend Matt to anyone interested in buying a Subaru. We also really liked Rich Norwood, who did all the financial paperwork with us. He was efficient and quick! In the past, this process has been so long and painful, with too much pressure to buy add-ons, although we did end up adding the lifetime oil service. Rich was very informative and non pressuring. Trade in was reasonable value for the dealer, but lower than what I wanted, so I decided to go with another route. Reasonably priced for quality product. Transaction was fast and did not feel pressured to purchase at any time. Ryan, the manager is a Subaru enthusiast. It always helps knowing that the guys running the place are interested in what they sell. Internet salesman (sorry, I forget his name - Kyle?) was very helpful, also. Set me up with an appointment for an hour after I called in. Go with an idea of what you want and you will leave feeling satisfied. Be aware of the premises on which a dealership operates and you will not be caught off guard. All in all, smooth purchase. More

Awesome Experience. This review is for Patricio, Alex and Scott. Here is my story. Found a used Subaru online that was just taken in as a trade. Sent my information via This review is for Patricio, Alex and Scott. Here is my story. Found a used Subaru online that was just taken in as a trade. Sent my information via the internet and was contacted within 15 minutes by Patricio. Without setting up an appointment decided to just drive over and take a look for myself. Upon arriving I was promptly greeted and Patricio was tracked down. The car was still going thru its inspection so initially it was difficult to find, thinking this might be the old bait and switch I was getting a little nervous but to my suprise he found it and even let me check it out while it was going thru inspection. Decided this was the car for me but but had to get the wife to look at it as well so we went upstairs and he took my initial information to get me started and scheduled an appt. for later that evening. Returned with wife and again let her check it out and even put the car on a lift so I could check out the underside. Went back were Alex took the rest of my information and started the process wich was quick and painless. I was then handed off to Scott who showed me the numbers and put up with me having him change different things multiple times even though it was getting late. Made the deal and made final arraingments to pickup car once it was fully inspected and anything that needed fixing was taken care of. At all time these three were calm, cool, personable and never pushy. Lets just say I hate going to car dealerships but these guys and this dealership just have a different vibe. Kudos to all for a place that is very proffesional yet not stuffy!!!! More
