Jerked around We decided to purchase a late model Outback. We arrived early afternoon on 10/23. The first thing that occurred was as we were walking out to the lot We decided to purchase a late model Outback. We arrived early afternoon on 10/23. The first thing that occurred was as we were walking out to the lot with our salesperson, the Sales Manager interrupted us because our person's other customers came back. We were then put with another salesperson, who was great. We spent about 2 hours looking at cars and test driving a couple of them. We picked out the car that we wanted and went to the table. Here comes the fun part... We sat down and my salesperson asked me about monthly payments, etc. I told them I didn't care about the monthly payments, just the price of the car. They asked me if $500 off would do it and I said "probably not." My salesperson then went to the sales manager and came back a short time later saying "there are 7 people ahead of you." So, I waited for an hour (yes, an entire hour) and quite patiently. The sales manager came back and told me that there was no negotiation and that the price was the sticker on the window. In other words, he was being a jerk. I then drove up the rode and had the best experience ever at Dick Hannah Subaru and drove home our Outback. I will never recommend Lithia Subaru to any of my friends or family. Worst experience I've ever had at a dealership. More

Lithia was one of the dealers who sales staff insured that I got information accurately and promptly. They also offered the lowest asking price and did not hedge throughout the sales price. The staff was thorough in their orientation both to insure that I understood the capabilities of the car and that my choice of car was suited to my needs.
