Lithia's price was the best in the Portland area. Other dealers warned me that it was probably a bait and switch and when I went to buy the car the price would increase. Well, it didn't. Excellent service! This was my daughters first experience in buying a new car. She asked me to accompany her mainly for moral support. She went through the Costco Auto Program, which I had done myself, to give herself a smoother and simpler buying experience. David Meltzer was the sales representative and he was extremely helpful and patient with her and very informative in explaining the buying process. During the test drive of the vehicle she was interested in, he explained how everything worked on all of the dash controls and how to fully get the best experience results of all of the features that came with the vehicle. He was very thorough in explaining everything to her. Upon making the decision to purchase the vehicle, he presented her with various options as to financing and buying the vehicle. In closing the deal, he stayed past the closing time of the dealership to make sure everything was finalized and helped her procure a loaner car while she waited for her vehicle to arrive (since she had traded in her older vehicle) which took a week before she could pick up her new car. Would recommend this dealership to anyone interested in purchasing a new Subaru. More
