Excellent Customer Service Buying a car is normally a headache, but such was not the case at Lithia Subaru. We contacted David Meltzer and gave him all the specifics we wanted in a used car. After much discussion, my husband and I decided to buy new. We stopped by the dealership, and David spent hours with us, test driving and patiently explaining and demonstrating all the different features. There was no pressure at all, when we wanted a day to think it over. We were ready to close the deal the next day, but had previous obligations and were not able to get to Lithia until late in the evening. Rick Norwood took excellent care of us with all the documentation, explaining everything thoroughly. Both David and Rick stayed past the normal business hours to complete our transaction, which was very much appreciated. Both myself and my husband have been in customer service most of our lives, and we notice when we receive good service. While other dealers also called or emailed, Lithia was the only one to provide a quote, and at a lower price than what we'd previously seen at other dealerships. We scheduled an appointment for later that day, but the sales rep (Patricio) was busy. In stepped Alex W. Not only did he find the exact car (after pulling several from the lot for us to look at), he patiently walked us through the entire process, start to finish. Because it was under warranty they replaced it for free. I really have no complaints and think the crew there are very good! I would recommend this dealership to everyone. The Internet Salesman - David Meltzer was easy to work with and applied no pressure. He was very knowledgeable and informative about all the new features that the car and Eye Sight offers. There was no haggling about the price as we had done the research. There were two drawbacks, one was the entire ordeal lasted 5 hours from start to finish. The amount of paperwork is overwhelming. We were exhausted by the end of the day. But, we guess that's part of buying a car or a home these days. The second drawback was the Finance Manager kept pushing the extended warranty coverage. If a customer says "NOT INTERESTED", they are NOT INTERESTED. David also followed up with us days after the sale and we certainly appreciate that kind of attention. More
