I can’t give overall rating. Answer variable based on below. In for repair/diagnostic 2006 Subaru Impreza Sport. Service Advisor A+. Over 100,000 miles decided did timing belt (chain) replacement to save day in the Service Department for the 105,000. Request repair and complete vehicle inspection. I could not have asked for better service. As regular customer at Herwaldt, now Lithia Subaru for 15 yrs. I have been well taken care of from service to new car purchase. I had my car in 10:00 am Monday July 20th-with the diagnostic/additional service requested things were found that needed attention. Car was ready end of day Tuesday. I was more than happy to leave to accomplish problems that were found/repaired. I was unhappy with was a "first" for me with Subaru. No loan car available, understandable so was sent to Enterprise for a rental and paid for the rental car. Payment wasn’t issue, even the Enterprise person was surprised asking several times if I were sure Lithia was not covering. Talk with Service Manager told me that Lithia doesn’t cover rentals but gave impression that if loan car was available I would have had one. After comment by Enterprise then asking Service Advisor, Lithia does pay for customer rental if car under Warranty (not been my experience years past). Lithia, (different than Herwaldt) values their new customers, (warranties) above the long standing “loyal” Subaru customer that comes in at every scheduled maintenance year after year on regular basis. 15 years I have been coming to this dealership/service dept. I have never paid for rental car. Subaru, 2006 Impreza Sport Wagon was purchased through dealership’s Sales Manager’s-always beyond helpful. Having kept a regular schedule of maintenance both this Subaru and previous Subaru Outback Legacy, I have spent many hours in the Service Department over past 15 years and always felt more than a just a customer more like a welcome friend. That went a long way towards loyalty. Service was excellent, Service Advisor did everything and beyond to make sure I was satisfied customer. My car was brought up to the best driving standard possible by repair/preventative. Sales Manager was friendly but did not offer same level of personal care that I have had over the past 15 years. Herwaldt was a smaller dealership and Lithia as Corporate explains why the personal touch is missing. A large corporate company misses small but important things. Business is business no importance of customer recognition. I miss the personal I was accustomed to. Rental cost was minimal/affordable. But considering over $2,000 spent (this visit) knowing continued regular/maintenance leaves is a letdown as a valued customer (not covering a car for the day). So, I have dropped a notch, am not the "very important person," am out of warranty-older Subaru (even though purchased/maintained 100% at this dealership). Receive excellent SERVICE, my goal was accomplished 100% satisfactory. If I went to a Lithia dealership/service department other location I would not expect personal care, they don’t know me, and I don’t know them. Lithia should rethink the value of all customers, especially those with history at location i.e. loyal, longstanding. Therein lies the problem. I have dropped a notch with Lithia, Fresno Customer Care....Lithia has dropped a notch with me Customer Service. Service work and Service Advisor score EXCELLENT. Now, do you want to know how I really feel? :-) More

I just want to test drive! WOW where do I sign Sunday morning with the family, shopping turn into the best car buying experience I've ever had. When we got to Lithia Subaru I just wanted to test dr Sunday morning with the family, shopping turn into the best car buying experience I've ever had. When we got to Lithia Subaru I just wanted to test drive two cars the WRX manual and cvt I asked if Victor Bravo was in but he out on a delivery, so they call him to tell him he had a customer waiting, but while I was waiting I was asked if I need anything and Victor was on his way. Once Victor showed up we test drove two cars and I love both, so I asked where do i sign! While I was going over number Victor was called away to help another customer. And then I was handed over to another sale person named Todd Harper long story short I didn't mind working with two sale men and Todd jumped in not missing a stride, he handled the paper work got may car washed and filled up my gas tank but what was really cool was my trade was in Madera and he drove me back to Madera to pick it up. And on delivery of the car Todd went over all the features of the car and showed me the dealership and where to take my car for service when needed. At the end I got bro hugs and hand shakes from the rest of the staff. I will be coming back for my next car when to time comes. More

Competent and Professional I had a pleasant experience purchasing a new 2015 Forrester from Lithia Subaru in Fresno. The salesman we worked with was Todd. He was friendly and co I had a pleasant experience purchasing a new 2015 Forrester from Lithia Subaru in Fresno. The salesman we worked with was Todd. He was friendly and competent. I felt like he listened to what we asked and gave us a fair deal. We were always treated respectfully. The finance person was likewise friendly and competent. He quickly solved problems when the office printer malfunctioned and got us done in a very efficient manner. All in all a pleasant car buying experience. More
