These guys really shouldn't be in business as a dealer. They seem to make customer service their LAST priority. No one could get the numbers where we wanted them, and once they did, the numbers still kept changing at signing! They owe me a refund of over 800 and Ive seen not a penny. When I call to ask the status of my money, no one is available, or can give me an answer. They really dont seem to care about the customer after the sale ONE BIT. More

Rich was amazing! I lost my car a few weeks ago in the Washoe drive fire and was pretty devastated. When I walked on the lot at Subaru Rich listened to everything I had to say and what I wanted. He showed me a Subaru outback that I fell in love with. He then spent the next week working so hard to get me the best deal he could! I just purchased my second Subaru Outback. I purchased my first Outback in 2002 from this dealership and 10 years later the customer service was still excellent. We traded in our Volvo XC90 that we were upside down in, and the staff there was very eager & more than willing to go the extra mile to get us into a 2012 Impreza Sedan. We came in to the dealership with a service issue on our old car. While we were waiting to hear what the cost would be we noticed the $199 a month lease option on a new Subaru and laughed about buying one. old car. Then when the shop bill came in we decided the money would be better spent on a new car. The sales staff not only spent 3 days patiently working with us while we decided what to do, they also helped us trade in a broken car which was barely worth what we owed. We were a little worried about qualifying for the loan due to a recent foreclosure, but the finance department easily got us into a brand new forester. Beyond that the salesman worked hard to make sure I had all the features I was looking for and made a very tedious process fun. Then he went above and beyond by following up with us to make sure I was happy with my purchase. I highly recommend this dealership and love my new car. More

Purchased a Used Legacy Outback at a good price.. engine blew within 1 week. Under warranty Lithia Reno Subaru (LRS) rebuilt it with a new block but used parts, cost me $1000 for new block, otherwise they w blew within 1 week. Under warranty Lithia Reno Subaru (LRS) rebuilt it with a new block but used parts, cost me $1000 for new block, otherwise they would have used a "used block". 3 K later the engine blows on a family trip… hotel … rental car, towing etc… LRS claims its my fault and wont cover it and wants $5k to rebuild, then wont let me pay with a credit card until I call the Reno Police to give me my car. 2k later the engine seizes due to valve train problems.. and under threat of lawsuit they pick up the car and fix it for free… but I have to then drive to Reno 2.5 hrs away and retrieve the car. …. 100K later valve train seizes, and Subaru is off my list.. for replacement vehicles. Subaru should restructure LRS to prevent their reputation from being destroyed in Reno.. Marco More
No one at this place will call you back. Made 3 calls to the service dept and got no answer after they reported a cd player not working as an "electrical issue" on my carfax report... Finally got a person and said the system was down so he'd have to call me back...still waiting for that call. Called the finance dept to get a phone number for the maintenance plan cancellation company, and after being so terribly rude on the phone as if I were totally inconveniencing him, he said he'd cal back. still no call back on that...spoke to same person again and said "i'll email you"..no email receieved yet. Took a car in to have it evaluated for a buy back, still no call back on that... bought a legacy and asked SPECIFICALLY if it had the Satellit Radio and was told yes. turns out it does, after I buy a $400 part to get it! NO service after the sale. Thank God I got rid of my subaru so I don't have to deal with these losers anymore. More
1. I called Lithia Reno Subaru dealer to inform them that my CEL and other lights were on, to which they replied, "do you have a diagnotic tool, or could you go to your local *** parts store, to get the erro my CEL and other lights were on, to which they replied, "do you have a diagnotic tool, or could you go to your local *** parts store, to get the error code?" 2. Upon taking my car to the selling dealer for said CEL issue, they kept it for 3 nights and were not able to solve issue. I asked man what do I do if lights come back on, he shruged and said, "well, try to disconnect battery terminal and reset code". -lololol 3. When I finally got my car back, the drivers armrest was full of water and cigarrette ash was in the center console, mats were dirty, and door sill dirty. {not joking} Other: 1. They push-talk me into giving me 10s on all the questionare. 2. The car was to come with all weather mats and it didn't. I had to come to dealer next week and wait 2 hours to get them. 3. I was cheated into getting a extended service plan at the finance department. The man lied and told me he could lower my interest rate if I bought it!!! More
