I initially didn't even consider going to Lithia Subaru because Michael Hohl did such a job with servicing my old Suby that I wanted to give them first crack at my next purchase. However after Michael Hohl gave me a really poor final offer on a new Forester XT I decided to shop them. I'm glad I did because I got a significantly better offer. I like Calin because he's the kind of guy who is polite and likable but at the same time he doesn't engage in un-necessary chit chat to close the deal. It's all about quickly getting you the price you need to do the deal. I've recommended him to friends and the next time I buy a car I'm calling him first. More

Working with Khaled made this a good experience I bought a 2004 Outback from Khaled on his first day on the floor. Robert Canadian also helped with the process and was also appreciated. To say that there were some glitches in the process is an understatement. Because I bought the car before it was sent through the shop there was a week's worth of delay and back and forth AFTER I purchased the car. I won't go into the details of that, but the bottom line is that I would not have left a happy customer if it wasn't for Khaled. Khaled served as my advocate throughout a very difficult process. He was determined to make sure I left in a safe vehicle. To do this, he had to negotiate with both the service department and the general manager. I felt very taken care of and in the end, could say that I would be a return customer. Thank you Khaled More

The salesman mentioned something about no deposit, yet nothing was mentioned in the emails or when we spoke on the phone. We were under the impression this vehicle was being held for us. I first looked at the Impreza Sport at the Reno car show, for 2 years, great little car. I was eligible for a VIP pricing program, and I had a choice of which dealer in the area to work with. I initially chose Lithia to see how i would be treated. Paul Bushnell contacted me when he received my paperwork and explained the price over the phone, and when i drove up to Reno to meet him in person, he was very honest in disclosing fees. I've had bad car salesmen experiences in the past and this was a very pleasant surprise to be treated with respect and courtesy. When I visited another area Subaru deal, it was a big secret to get a price, insisting I fill out a credit application, wanted me to buy a different car, etc. I had made the right choice in choosing Lithia. Paul was very patient with me, in letting me make up my mind to actually buy a new car (my last one was a 1997, I don't do this often), and kept me informed of the status of the Impreza in the color and transmission I wanted. Due to his days off, he introduced me to Jesse Watkins, who would be working on my day off when I would come back to take possession of the car. Jesse was also awesome to work with, very polite, knowledgeable about the car. he explained the whole paperwork process we'd be going through for financing and actually purchasing the car, and then stayed late to walk me through the car's features before I drove off the lot. I've called both him and Paul with questions and have always had a good response. They've encouraged me to call if I have more questions. Very personable, and I felt like the truly cared about my experience. My green form arrived promptly to take to DMV. I would recommend Lithia. More

I was given an honest and fair price for my trade in vehicle, and an honest and wonderful price on my new BRZ. My rating for this dealership however is not based on the value I received, though it is awesome, I'm rating this dealership a 5 because the service is OUTSTANDING!! I was treated with respect, no hassle, no pressure, they worked along with my crazy work schedule and waited for me. Every time I was promised a return call, I got it. I asked one day if we could communicate via text because I was in a training class, but wanted to make a deal that day. That's what I got! I got the deal I wanted, the respect every consumer deserves. Steve went above and beyond in my opinion, spending much time with me explaining how my new vehicle was special and its features. He even took time on his day off to check in on me! After hours he contacted me with an answer to a question I had. Steve is my "Subaru Guru" he left nothing behind in details or service. I told the students in my training class that "i felt like royalty at Lithia Reno Subaru" I also said in large part, "Subaru Steve" was the reason for my complete delight in the total experience. I feel as though I cannot find proper words to describe Steve and his deep knowledge of Subaru or the outstanding service I received. I can only hope through what I have tried to describe you can imagine the smile I am wearing, the words I am sharing with all who ask me about my new ride, and the referrals I intend to give Steve and the management, Dustin and Randy. I stopped by today to again thank Steve and when I described my feelings he said, "Tammy around here this is what we call Subaru Love!" I will never again buy from anywhere else. When it came time to turn in our 2011 Subaru we made our first contact with the team at Litia Subaru in Reno, we thought of them first because of our buying experience there in August of 2010. I would like to point out that my wife and I live near Vallejo, CA, a 3.5 hour drive from Reno. When we contact the dealership in early January we were put in contact with Jesse Watkins and what a terrific experience he created for us. The entire process was handled by phone and email, Jesse responded to our frequent requests quickly and thorougly and he made us feel like we were his only and most important customers every time we spoke (if only the slot machines at Harrah's treated us as well). We drove up to Reno from the SF Bay Area on Saturday morning to pick up the car.....we arrived at the dealership at about 9:45AM and were on our way out of town (well, not really out of town....there was that stop at Harrah's) before noon. The completion of the paperwork went quickly and smoothly, best of all there were no surprises. The car was exactly at described and promised, price and terms were as promised and Jesse exceeded our expectations. Although the dealership was busy, everyone made us feel welcome and appreciated. Paul Bushness, the Internet Sales Manager (with whom we spoke by phone a few times when Jesse wasn't available) stopped by to say hello as did Randy Goldman, the General Manager.
