screwed me over! I went in to buyout a lease. Having gone over the miles in the agreement, I knew I was in for a surprise. I went in and was promised to be taken care I went in to buyout a lease. Having gone over the miles in the agreement, I knew I was in for a surprise. I went in and was promised to be taken care of, "Like family". I left feeling the exact opposite! I should have spoken up but honestly I thought they were giving me a deal and I trusted them; so I signed the paperwork and left. Colossal mistake on my part! We had discussed pricing, financing and down payment. My down payment was supposed to pay for the tax portion so that the loan amount would fall back down to the buyout price for the car. When I received my first statement from the bank and realized that I owed 21K instead of the 17K I was told, I went wild! I went back to the paperwork and noticed it was what i signed for! I called the finance manager to ask what happened to the prices we discussed and he said he would "get back to" me and I never heard from him. I have always purchased cars from Lithia of Fresno and recommended ALL my friends and family to visit this location because I appreciated the service they provided. I will never recommend them again, I will make sure to tell all my friends and family how badly they screwed me over! Any time someone tells me he/she is heading to that dealership, I will warn them to just avoid the headache! More

Shouldn’t it smell like new if u r trying to sell it? didn’t advertise internet price till I show them. Made an offer n was told(attitude) that the dealership would b loosing about $10k on the deal. Let me do the math, car was at $38k, internet price was $32k(ur decision to lower price) so how r u loosing $10k if u r willing to sell it at $32k......lol....my explanation on my offer($30k out the door) was that I wanted the value of the car when I drove off the lot. I was willing to put money down to better the deal but I’m Glad I didn’t get the deal. I can imagine the headache with this dealership if the guy can’t even do math n play dumb on the price till u show it to them. Also, if the car smell like a smoker been in it than I’m assuming one of the employee(probably a manager) been driving it around in it. I ask but no response. One last thing, I was told by the salesman that the car(Lexus rc 350) been there since 12/2017 so wouldn’t u wanna sell it by now but it just dawn on me....the smoking person needs the ride more than me! Lithia Nissan horror story The likely hood of having a good experience at a car dealership is low, in the case of Lithia in Fresno Ca I had the worst experience of my life. I p The likely hood of having a good experience at a car dealership is low, in the case of Lithia in Fresno Ca I had the worst experience of my life. I purchased a vehicle in November and still today, nearly 3 months later my bad experience is more like a reoccurring nightmare. The tactics of Lithia are typical of bad car dealers and take the likes of drug dealers selling to innocent and unsuspecting children. Lies, deceit, and intimidation are the culture which I experienced from the top down. The experience started off with what was a great sales rep who was engaging, cleaver and fun to be around. After looking at several vehicles and going for a test drive the sales rep was able to convince us that we should speak to someone about pricing. Now we were very clear that we were not ready to buy today and that there were other models form competitors that we would be test driving before making our final decision. On the agreement that it would only be 10 minutes to discuss pricing we hesitantly entered the dreaded sales office. I should have known better than to believe that this discussion would only take 10 minutes but this was their first successful trick. We ultimately spent almost two hours while different managers came in with high pressure tactics trying to close the deal. Now I’m sure you are thinking why did we spend this much time there? The large male managers who came in one by one would stand between us and the door creating an intimidating situation for myself and my pregnant partner. As the time went on and the managers were changed out, in an attempt to wear us down, the deal presented did get better than I expected. But like I said earlier there were similar model vehicles from competitors that we, as a newly expecting family, wanted to experience and test drive before making this important and expensive long-term decision. We ultimately left the Lithia dealership without making a purchase that day but with a price we thought was a good deal. Over the next couple of weeks, we made it to the competitors we wanted to test and even a competitor of the same brand. The best deal pitched to us was from Lithia, we also liked this particular vehicle, so we ultimately decided to return and make our purchase here. This is where I should have walked out on the deal. The tactics of deceit began almost immediately. We were now renegotiating the same deal we thought we agreed upon two weeks earlier. Keep in mind we made our return within the same month and the same incentives were going on. They again began trading sales managers in and out of the office we were put into, often standing between us and the door where they would continue to lie through their teeth about what they promised on our last visit. Ultimately, they refused to make the same as their previous deal. With another Saturday of my life wasted in a Lithia dealership cube We conceded and took what was the same deal we would have received at their competitor. Now that my hunger from the hours of negotiations was setting in I was relieved to see the end of this insanity in sight and hopefully a meal soon. This is where we experienced yet another level of unprofessionalism and unbelievable lack in job and people skills. The finance manager had to reprint the contract and other miscellaneous paperwork for various errors three times. This entire process took another couple of hours where we signed and resigned paperwork, which we learned several months later was still incorrect. The level of disrespect from the sales manager was like nothing I have ever experienced. While misspelling our name and making other errors in the paperwork he told us about all the women he knows from the local bar and around town. He told us a particularly unprofessional story about his time out the previous night. Maybe this is why he cannot get the paperwork right I thought. The water bottle, which we had to purchase, was empty after this long day and we asked him to throw it away, but to our surprise he refused and sent us across the sales floor to find a trash can in someone else’s office. Now that the sun is down and my Saturday is gone we finally leave the dealership in our new vehicle. But this is not the end of nightmare, only the beginning. We forgot something in the lease vehicle we turned in that day, likely due to the exhaustion and frustration from that long and tumultuous day. I lost count of the number of calls we made to the dealership trying to talk to someone that could help us retrieve the important item left behind. There was voicemail after voicemail left and promise after promise that someone would call back. They never did call us back. This made it clear where we stand now that the deal was closed and we were no longer buying customers. We had to drive back to the dealership where we did retrieve what we left behind. Fast forward two months later and my phone rings from Lithia. The paperwork we had reprinted three times and signed over and over again after an entire day rehashing a deal promised that was only a lie, was again not done correctly. Now I was in no hurry to return to the dealership for a fourth time, especially due to treatment we received there in the past so I let this linger for a week. At this point they started sending large men to my door demanding from a pregnant woman that she calls me at work and we immediately return to the dealership to resign paperwork. We probably should have called the police, but I returned to the negotiation table instead. I had to ask that they stop sending people to my home first. I also needed something in return for all of the trouble and my lost Saturdays. Lithia offered to fill my gas tank, which I kindly refused. We discussed other options and ended on having the windows tinted in exchange for our return to the dealership to again sign paperwork. We returned to the dealership to find a new finance manager who helped us resign the exact same documents we signed three times before. He also provided us with a contract to have the windows tinted and promised to correct the errors from our lease vehicle we returned months earlier. You see we did not receive the incentives we earned by remaining brand loyal due to the first paperwork not being valid. Now that several months had passed it looked like we were no longer eligible for the loyalty incentives but Lithia was going to get this corrected. They never did get this corrected as promised and we were again left to fend for ourselves and contact NMAC for a resolution. After several weeks of waiting for the call from the service department on the window tinting we realized that we were again going to have to do this ourselves. So we made the call and talked to several people before they were able to retrieve the contract to tint the vehicle windows. The promise made by Lithia was that we could pick any tint we desired and have it installed at no cost to ourselves. This again was a lie. I have a copy of the contract from the finance manager and a copy of the tint we selected from the service department but Lithia will not honor either of them. I called and emailed the finance manager again but he also refused and denied telling me what he promised in his office only a couple of weeks earlier. Instead we were offered to pay out of pocket for the front windows and top 4 inches of the windshield at an absurd price of $170. If you shop at Lithia expect to have your time wasted, promises not kept and lies form the beginning to end. More
