Great Experience Purchasing a Used Nissan Leaf We were reviewing a 2017 Nissan Leaf on the internet located at Lithia Nissan of Eugene. We entered our contact info and a salesperson, Steve Herron, We were reviewing a 2017 Nissan Leaf on the internet located at Lithia Nissan of Eugene. We entered our contact info and a salesperson, Steve Herron, contacted us via text promptly even though it was after working hours. He was very helpful and we set up a time to test drive the vehicle. We arrived at the dealership and Steve was very knowledgeable about the car and its history. He was very personable and not pushy at all and didn't attempt to sell us a bunch of stuff or services we didn't need. Even the finance guy, Jordan, was great and didn't try to load the sale with a bunch of unnecessary stuff. I'm 54 and have purchased several vehicles new and used and this was one of the easiest and most pleasant transactions I have had. I would definitely recommend Steve, Jordan, and Lithia Nissan of Eugene to anyone interested in purchasing a vehicle. It wasn't until I went to write this review that I realized this dealership was rated the 2019 Oregon State Dealer of the Year. From my personal experience, it seems well deserved. More

After researching online we decided the Nissan Versa Sedan was the best fit for our budget. The closest dealership from Coos Bay was in Eugene, so we contacted Steve Hutton by phone. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and listened to our needs... No pressure. Steve made every effort in a timely manner to find the right car for the right price. And did he ever!!! He was AWESOME! We were able to finalise many aspects of the purchase over the phone..Dennis helped take info for our deposit and financing...he was also awesome! This saved a lot of time @ the dealership. When we arrived the next day our beautiful car was cleaned and fueled up! We signed all documents and met other Reps and service techs. Would highly recommend to ANYONE looking at a half tun truck to give Nissan a look and talk to OZ in Eugene. FYI.... I am a huge GMC fan, but I witched to Nissan Titan and I couldn't be happier. Gor rid of my 2015 GMS Sierra SLT Z-71 5.3L and got a Titan with a better ride and better motor. The 5.3L GMC motor is weaker than bunny xxxx. I got a better truck and saved over $8,000. I have 753 miles on my Titan and I have averaged 21.8 mpg. The Nissan 5.7L motor rocks and it has a set of nuts. More

Same old sleazy car salesman experience We bought a 2015 Nissan Altima SL from the dealership about a month ago. It started out all right, the salesperson appeared helpful if not knowledgea We bought a 2015 Nissan Altima SL from the dealership about a month ago. It started out all right, the salesperson appeared helpful if not knowledgeable. Then when it came time to negotiate the price and inspect the car and complete the sale, they tried to hide defects, add unnecessary charges, and avoid their duties to make the car fit for sale. The most egregious defect that we found was some gritty substance (talcum powder?) that had been packed into the side view mirror assembly; that subsequently leaked out when it rained. Presumably, this was done to hide the loose mirror housing and the annoying vibrating noise it makes when you drive freeway speed (sounds like there is a bee in the car). When we brought the issue to Lithia's attention we went through our sales guy (John), the service department guys (JJ and a couple others), the sales manager (Joe), then the general manager (Matt). They started out saying they'll take care of it, then moved on have us wait to "see if a replacement side view mirror will be covered under warranty" -pushing things onto the manufacturer; then moved on to say we're responsible for any repairs... but ended up allowing us to have the dealership clean the powder out the mirror, but not actually repair or replace anything. They never took ownership of their deception, never apologized, didn't repair anything, and drew things out for way, way too long. I think there were a total of 8 conversations with several different people just to get their service department to get the gunk out of the side mirror. And this is just one of a few problems with a car. A car they had marked, and that we purchased as, "certified pre-owned." They supposedly inspected the car and tested the mirrors as part of that process. There is no way we would trust them after this sort of treatment. It's too bad Jordon works at Lithia - he was the person who handled our final contracts and seemed the most helpful and honest. More

We only took this truck to Nissan for repairs and oil changes and they never said anything about the leaf spring. The truck started to become really bumpy when going at higher speeds so we took it to Les Schwab because we thought it might be a tire issue. They were the first to inform us what was going on underneath our truck. Unfortunately this all was found a year and a half after we bought the truck. For us this means we were unsafe in this vehicle the entire time we have owned it. For Lithia they refuse to take responsibility and instead blame us. We DID NOT do that to our truck and we did not take it anywhere else. Do not buy or work with them. They are an unsafe irresponsible company. More
