Beware of Shady Financing Practices at Lithia Nissan I wish I had researched this dealership before purchasing my Nissan Sentra. We originally chose the Sentra because it was advertised as marked down fro wish I had researched this dealership before purchasing my Nissan Sentra. We originally chose the Sentra because it was advertised as marked down from $24,999 to $20,999. I had already been pre-approved at Galpin Nissan for a 0.9% interest rate, and while we weren’t planning to buy the car at Lithia Nissan, we figured that if they could match the price, we might consider it. However, when we sat down to finalize the deal, they offered an 8% interest rate—far higher than what we had secured at Galpin. I refused, and after multiple rounds of negotiations, they eventually brought it down to 1.9%. What they failed to mention upfront was that, because we were using “special financing,” we would be required to pay the full sticker price of $24,999. To make matters worse, we had already been charged for add-ons that we didn’t want. Initially, we thought the lower price and good financing would balance things out, but when we reviewed our contract later, we realized they had charged us the full $24,999. By that point, we were stuck, having already taken the car home. When I called to dispute this, they claimed that since we didn’t go with the standard 8% financing, the discount no longer applied. Had I known this from the start, I never would have purchased the car from them. Fortunately, Galpin Nissan—the dealership I originally intended to buy from—has agreed to take the car off our hands for what we paid and offer us a new deal. I will never return to Lithia Nissan for anything. If you’re considering buying from them, I strongly advise looking elsewhere, as their sales tactics and paperwork processes are incredibly misleading. More

Hi my name is Steve Camargo. I have written a review last month on the purchase of my daughter's 2021 Nissan Versa. We let the salesman and sales manager know that the passenger I have written a review last month on the purchase of my daughter's 2021 Nissan Versa. We let the salesman and sales manager know that the passenger door lock was not operating before we purchased the vehicle. They said for us to bring the vehicle back to get it repaired or replaced since it was covered under the 60 day coverage. After we purchased the vehicle my daughter bought new floor mats because the vehicle did not come with floor mats. My daughter found a Burger King bag under the passenger seat along with a piece of a Chevrolet vehicle sticker price tag. The assistant General manager Rigoberto Heredia wrote back to me and said that they will make things right when my daughter brings back her vehicle for repairs on the passenger door lock. The service person Hannah called my daughter to tell her to bring her vehicle for the repair. My daughter took her vehicle to the clovis nissan service center and they did a diagnostic on the vehicle to make sure that was the problem and then my daughter was told to bring it back because they have to get authorization from nissan for the door lock repair. I made the appointment with the service person Hannah for February 4th at 10:20am at the clovis nissan service center. I personally took my daughter's vehicle to the service center at 10am and the gentleman who came out to greet me asked if I had an appointment. I said yes and he asked for my key fob and instructed me to walk inside while he gets the vehicle information. He walks back in to tell me that there is no appointment set up for me and asked me what my daughter's name is. I told him that I spoke to Hannah and made the appointment myself. He said that Hannah was off that day. He then said that he will take a look to see if the part was in and then he asked me if I have given him my key fob. I said yes when I got out of the vehicle and he asked me for the key fob. He then went to go check to see if the part was in which it was and that the authorization was good. I sat there in the waiting area, walked around the lot looking at cars, talked to the sales person and sales manager and walked around to the parts center to order the cross bars for my wife's 2023 nissan rogue. At 2:15pm or 2:20pm the service person came to me to let me know that the vehicle is ready and that he has to finish the paperwork and will come back to me. 3:20pm the service person came out to the waiting area to say "where were you". I was looking for you. I told him that I was walking around in the building. He then told me that the remote start on the vehicle did not work because the vehicle did not come with it. I then said that Hannah spoke to my daughter and said the remote start is probably not working because of the safety issues with the lock. The key fob does come with a remote start on it. By time I signed the repair document it was almost 3:30pm. I was not happy that I had to wait a long time. It was so long that even one of the sales person said to me that I have been there longer that he has that day. I went by with the assistant General manager had to say about making things right on the next time we bring in the vehicle None of that happened that day. If you look at your cameras I was there 5 1/2 hours waiting on the vehicle to be repaired. We have purchased two vehicles together from Clovis Nissan with excellent service from Julian, who they say is no longer with clovis nissan. We are sad to hear that Julian is no longer there. He knows how customer service is all about and not just a sale. My confidence with clovis nissan has gone down. As a Gulf War disabled veteran of the Marine Corps attention to detail is very important and should not ever be overlooked. Thank you. More
