Just Wow I have been working on building my credit up enough to get a car in my own name instead of my mom's. I went to the dealership to to see if I would be able to trade my car in all while not knowing what to expect. Patrick (Randy) met me at the door with the biggest smile. That eased me a little. He was so nice and so friendly and my crazy kid didn't irritate him as much as he did me. He helped me get the best deal for the Altima I got and I am happy with the car. I highly recommend that if anyone reading these reviews they go to Lithia Nissan of Ames and see Randy he is the best guy ever. He is willing to help you as much as he can while smiling the whole time. Doug was nice to me ever since I talked to him on the phone the day before and telling him what I was trying to do. Tom was a fun loving guy helped me wrap the process up and when I come in for that first oil change I will still be bringing chocolate your way. LOL... More

Best dealership experience EVER!!! My wife and I recently purchased a 2015 Nissan Murano SL AWD at Lithia of Ames. As a matter of fact, this is the second Murano we have purchased at Li My wife and I recently purchased a 2015 Nissan Murano SL AWD at Lithia of Ames. As a matter of fact, this is the second Murano we have purchased at Lithia. We were so happy with our 2010 that we never,seriously, considered another vehicle. Brian Fox was our salesperson and what a great asset he is to Lithia. My wife and I have a terrible time making decisions and Brian was excellent in helping us make this decision. We went back and forth for eight hours before we decided on the Murano we bought. There was no pressure exerted toward us by Brian, just facts, compassion and a willingness to help us through this process. Brian explained to us all aspects of the Murano, let us test drive it and even let us take it to get some lunch so my wife and I could talk, alone. That was much appreciated. Basically, we are extremely happy with the Murano we purchased, in 2010 and 2016. We have both of them at home and are proud to say, we are a two Murano family. Lithia is the best dealership we have encountered, Brian Fox is a top notch sales person, the service department with Jeff Searcy and his staff are the best and we will definitely stear future buyers to Lithia. Dishonest experience My experience at this dealership was the worse. I bought a certified pre-owned 2012 Nissan Sentra in July 2015 and within 7 months I had to replace th My experience at this dealership was the worse. I bought a certified pre-owned 2012 Nissan Sentra in July 2015 and within 7 months I had to replace the brake pads and the rotors. To my understanding buying a certified pre-owned vehicle is suppose to give you a sense of security that there should not be any big expenses so quickly after purchase. They were also supposed to send me a check for an oversight that was made and I never received it. So therefore I believe they are not looking out for the customers but are just concerned about the sales. If you want an honest transaction I do not recommend this dealership More

The best dealership ever First of all, This dealership is the best I have ever been. Very friendly, but they also offers you the best service. All the cars were inspected. The very few test drive was not satisfactory enough since the price was around $3000 So, it was not sufficient enough for me to satisfy but except that, Everybody in this dealership is super nice. Negotiation process did not take that long, offered me a reasonable price. My dealer Micah Sickmann even picked me up from my place, He kept me updated with the carfax reports, and variety of cars in my price range. He tried his best to give me the best schedule, and take care of almost everything. Very polite, and friendly as well. He seemed like he is trying to do everything he can do. Also, this person is very TRUSTWORTH as well ! I started off with a lot of concerns but, that was very unnecessary. Even a person who is not aware of how to get a used car would not get ripped off, here. I have been to other dealership as well in AMES but can definitely suggest this is the best one. More
