If I could I would give them a negative star rating. Can’t tell you how dissatisfied I am with this dealer. Was making a deal with this dealership through phone and text conversations. The salesman that I dealt with pulled a typical bait and switch with me. We had a deal in principle on a vehicle that was $5999. After I was approved for financing, he called to congratulate me on my new to me Honda Pilot. Unfortunately, 20 minutes later he texts me a message that says “our dealership website updated overnight and I had the wrong vehicle. The one he showed me(and we agreed on) was 3 years newer and $4000 more expensive. So he said he was sorry and he couldn’t sell me the vehicle for the price we had agreed upon. Gets even better when I talked to the sales manager and he tells me, “this happens from time to time”. He also told me the other vehicle was not even worth selling. So you got that right, the sales team couldn’t tell the difference between a junk vehicle and one worth $10000. The General manager wouldn’t talk to me either, so what am I to do? It wouldn’t have bothered me so much if they would have at least made some concessions for screwing up the way they did, but nope, nothing!! If your considering buying a vehicle at Ames Honda Nissan, buyer beware. No way they didn’t know what they were doing, if they did, they are colossally bad at their jobs. More
