Initially Complete lack of integrity and responsibility. I obtained 2 independent tire assessments of defective Ford OEM tires with 20,000 miles. Initially the Lithia service person indicated the tires were not covered by a warranty. I produced the "Tire Warranty" book included with the vehicle purchase to further the conversation. Lithia indicated two possible causes. I then took the vehicle and tires to Les Schwab. They did an independent assessment of the possible causes and produced a written conclusion supported by historical tire maintenance records plus an alighnment on said vehicle. Les Schwab concluded that the "general poor wear of the tires can not be explained by any deficiency in the operation of the vehicle." Predictably, Lithia dismissed Les Schwab's analysis and denied any resposibility. This wasn't surprising in that beginning with the initial service appointment, Lithia continually distanced themselves from any accountability. There are other Ford dealer options in the Treasure Valley. I would suggest a NON-Lithia dealer where integrity is a business principa. A dealer who is your advocate with the OEM not an obstacle. More
I purchased a used Mustang in Sept. 2011 from Lithia Ford and have had some performance issues. Each time I've brought the car in Lithia's personnel have treated me exceptionally well.
