I went to the service center with no appointment, because I had a check engine light on and the service department didn't waste time getting it to a tech to troubleshoot the issues. Communication was poor. We have always had very good luck with Lithia of Boise. This trip and the previous trip not so much. This latest trip was set up on the 28th and scheduled well in advance of the actual appointment. We were told to have the vehicle there on Thursday August 6th. We dropped it off on the 5th. Not hearing anything all day I called a left a VM on Thursday. Return call came in about 4:30 and we were told it was a rough day, super busy, and they wouldn't get to the car till Friday. Friday left a VM middle of the day. Got a return call at 3:00 to say another rough day and they wouldn't get to the car till Monday. So no vehicle to drive over the weekend. All we had asked for was an oil change and to review the vehicle to make sure it was safe to drive across country as our son was leaving for college on Monday and had to be to football practice on Wednesday. At this point I'm beyond frustrated cause not only is his timely arrival at college in jeopardy but no car for him to drive over the weekend which meant he couldn't work his last weekend as he uses the car for work. I also couldn't punt and take the car elsewhere as it was 3:00 on a Friday and I was out of options and out of time. On Monday I reached out to Shannon Pike who was on PTO and explained our frustration and situation and he immediately took time out of his vacation to reach Rhett and the car was quickly moved through the line and we received the car on Monday about 2:30. So Shannon and Rhett saved the day and helped keep a very tenuous situation from totally spiraling out of control. Bottom line the up-front communication was terrible. And when we schedule an appointment 10 days prior to the appointment we assume that when the car is dropped off it won't then take an additional 2 days to be looked at. If that's the case be real and upfront and tell me when I drop it off that you need more time. He basically lost the last 5 days of his summer break to no vehicle and no ability to work. More

Overall a good experience. But they called me to pick up my vehicle and I tool it home. But when I opened the back door the door seal was not attached and slammed into the door. And there was some adhesiv my vehicle and I tool it home. But when I opened the back door the door seal was not attached and slammed into the door. And there was some adhesive on the inside door surface. Rags and the tech’s paperwork were left in the vehicle. Cowling was broken and missed when doing the vehicle repair. More

We did buy a new tire this spring & Lithia's price was better than the local tire shops. That was a real surprise given our experience with most dealers in the past. Last repair was for an oil leak. When my husband read the service invoice he was disappointed a compression test wasn't done to rule out possible damage due to a possible "low oil" condition. He is a cranky old guy. Rhett has been great to work with, always provides a loaner when my car will be laid up awhile. More

Some carelessness, but professional, honest repair service It took multiple appointments to get the problem with my truck fixed. It isn't always possible to diagnose the root cause on a first visit -- I can a It took multiple appointments to get the problem with my truck fixed. It isn't always possible to diagnose the root cause on a first visit -- I can appreciate that, especially with an intermittent problem. But three mistakes were made by technicians which necessitated two additional trips back; getting incorrect spark plugs from the parts department, cross wiring the new wiring pigtail that was installed, and not securely snapping the pigtail into the socket so that it made a consistent connection. The last of which, I discovered on my own at home, otherwise I would have had to bring the truck back another time. It only takes a little more care to double check simple things like that, to avoid such mistakes. I do feel like I have been treated fairly, that honesty and integrity was shown in admitting the mistakes which were made, and that effort is made to keep me informed during the diagnosis and repair process. More
