My experience could have been frustrating as my new F-350 was there for 63 days because of a U.S. wide parts shortage. This repair is so frustrating, 2nd pickup I’ve had to repair this item on, a $ 30.00 part and $900.00 labor to tear out the whole dash to get to. Ford has had this problem and won’t address it. We have been customers of Lithia Ford for many years. We've never had a problem with them, until this time. We bought a 2021 Explorer and a week after I had it the check engine light came on. I took it We've never had a problem with them, until this time. We bought a 2021 Explorer and a week after I had it the check engine light came on. I took it in and had to leave and was told they didn't have any loaner cars. After the 3rd day of no car I told them I needed a loaner. I have a child at home and I had no other vehicle, and was finally given a loaner. After 4 days they diagnosed the problem, and said it was a quick fix. However, three days later I still didn't have my car. We were told other cars came in and were fixed before my car. I had told them I needed my car done by Thursday night at the latest. My husband called Thursday afternoon, and they told him they were trying to find a technician to fix it. They knew what the problem was for 3 days and did nothing. He told them I was on my way in to get it, it was just a hose that needed replaced and they got it done in the time it took me to drive in from Kuna. This was my first brand new car and I guess I expected a little better customer service. More
