Never Buy Here! I purchased a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee from Lithia Auto in Missoula two weeks ago. The morning after I purchased the car, the car shut off and left m I purchased a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee from Lithia Auto in Missoula two weeks ago. The morning after I purchased the car, the car shut off and left me in the middle of the road for ten minutes. I contacted my salesman and asked if there was a way to disable that feature as it was a rather scary experience, especially with a new car. He said there wasn't. During the past two weeks, the vehicle has had about a dozen instances where after idling, it refuses to go into gear and move. I end up having to turn the car on and off several times before it will allow me to shift. Two days ago, it wouldn't even start in the morning. I had to keep pushing the button over and over before it finally turned on. Since it is an intermittent issue, I explained to Lithia that I will never feel safe driving this car. I never know when it will happen. I have had a couple of days go by without issue and think it was okay, then bam, can't move, won't go into gear. I explained to my salesman that with my job, I need a car that I can depend on to move when I get in and put it in gear. I have had experiences where I have guns pulled on me, dogs attacking me and men chasing me off their property. I have a car payment so I have the ability to feel I can safely exit a bad situation. This vehicle does not offer me that. I don't feel I have ten minutes to sit and try to start my car when someone has a gun pointed at me and telling me to get off their property. I hate and fear this vehicle more than words can say. Today my salesman told me they weren't willing to "unwind" the deal and to go ahead and get an attorney. Shame on them for putting a single woman into a potentially dangerous situation! More

Hands down, it was the easiest vehicle purchase that I have made in over 40 years of buying new vehicles. Made the purchase via phone, texts, and overnight mail. Flew in and was picked up at the airport by Rob. One hour later, I was on the road driving back to New Mexico. Rob was the type of salesman that everyone would want to deal with. He was fun, easy to talk to, well versed on the vehicle, and kept me in the loop throughout the entire time. He was very unlike most of the sales persons that I have dealt with over the years.
