I am badly upside down in my vehicle. I realize it was going to be a stretch to get me in a vehicle. I would have rather the salesmen told me that rather than insult my intelligence. I have been offered a going to be a stretch to get me in a vehicle. I would have rather the salesmen told me that rather than insult my intelligence. I have been offered as much as 11k for my current vehicle. Nolan proceeded to nitpick every surface scratch on my vehicle and offered my $8,000. He wrote down that tires need to be replaced. I told him I could prove the tires were bought new in May and had less that 5,000 miles on them. I am not sure he was even listening because he went out there with a number in mind and had to tear the vehicle apart to get there. I was offered below what KBB said the car was worth in poor condition. Geez. Basically if they would have given me what the car was worth and their car rebates I would be driving a jeep right now. They just weren't willing to cut into their profit that much. He came back with a quote from their finance manager who you never get to see telling me if I put 13,000 down I could get the car with a 13% finance rate. I guess they thought I was the dumbest guy in gown. If I had 13,000 I could sell the car and pay the balance. Two weeks ago I bought a F150 truck from Laurel Ford at 1.9 % financing. My credit is pretty good. I could easily buy another car if it wasn't for a bad decision I made 2 years ago. If you are tired of car salesmen tricks and want to be treated with respect go to Laurel Ford in Laurel Montana. I took this vehicle to them and they told me up front they probably couldn't do anything for me and that I should look for someone offering rebates which is why I decided to settle to drive a dodge or jeep product. If you like those cars I suggest you drive a bit farther to find.a better experience. More
