Found 2007 Chevy Silverado HD2500 on CarGuru. All communication was over the phone with the dealership. I insisted on a warranty which covered the fuel system. Business Manager Brian Molina read me the coverage for the VehicleOne warranty, which included the fuel system and a life time oil change service. I agreed to buy the additional coverage. I also spoke with General Manager Frank Murillo. The dealership is 7+ hours away from my home, we met halfway in Salem OR. I met with the drivers on 12/12/2019. The driver was an older gentleman who said he knew nothing about the paperwork, and that I was to sign by all the tape markers. I verified the final amounts and signed. I know this was wrong, I should have insisted that the mountain of paperwork be reviewed with me to verify all that had been agreed upon. But, I just verified the final amount and signed. (I paid with a cashiers check from my credit union.) When I went in for my first oil change at a local Lithia Dealership, they informed me that the oil change had been written for the wrong vehicle. Lithia did immediately fix this error. Four months later when I started having fuel system issues, the local Lithia Dealership wrote an estimate for $9700.56, and informed me that my warranty did not cover fuel systems. But, if I had purchased the upgraded warranty, it would have been covered. When I spoke with Brian Molina I had purchased the upgraded warranty. I contacted VehicleOne they immediately canceled and refunded my warranty. When I contacted Lithia's Customer Service at the corporate office, Melinda Alicea (she has never communicated voice to voice, only threw email), she referred me back to the dealership. I spoke with General Manager Frank Murillo, he asked for additional repair information, which I provided. I have not heard back from Mr. Murillo since that July 2019 conversation. After 2 months of silence I emailed Melinda Alicea and she responded that Mr. Murillo had told her that the issue had been resolved. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau against Lithia of Tri-Cities as well as the Lithia Auto Stores. To date the BBB informs me that the complaints have been ignored by both of the Lithia organizations. More

Knowledge The only reason this review is a 3 is because the salesperson was nice. First I was told that the truck had a nav system and Android auto. Nope it didn't and the dealer is making me pay $200.00 towards a system I was led to believe it had. The truck is not even Android capable. I asked the manager what the towing capacity was and he told me it was 10,000 pounds then I found out it only has an 8,000 pound capacity. A full ton difference.
