In dealing with Lithia, my husband and I have always been extremely pleased with a knowledgable, gracious staff in both the sales and service department. I have purchased a vehicle and have been impressed by the level of care, concern and friendliness I witness when I visit the dealership. The look and feel of the dealership is clean, professional and positive. Troy has always been more than fair with me and has directed me to staff to handle my concerns. More impressive due to the fact that I am driving a Chevy Truck. Interesting story.... I was trying to sort out a perceived problem with my Chevy Truck... 09 model. Troy's Dodge lot had a similar vehicle used. A salesman whose name I do not recall rode with me in the used model to see if my perceived problem was unique to my truck or a characteristic of the vehicle. That sort of customer care goes a long way with me and makes referral an easy task. I drive by their lot daily ( there are many dealerships along my route). k Keeping vehicles clean and ready to show is a challenge in a snowy climate. The Dodge lot is either clean or being cleaned as I drive by.... that speaks volumes.... can't sell what you can't see. More

Nothing about my experience at the service department was good. They never returned calls, were arrogant and rude on the phone, gave me BS answers as to why their repairs didn't fix my car's problems. I retu good. I returned for the same problem for months, and each time, they charged me money and didn't fix the problem. Complaining to the service manager is not useful. Poor service that is not corrected by the manager is an indication that he agrees with poor service, and that unhappy customers are acceptable. It also supports the stereotype that car dealers are unethical liars. It is possible that the technicians are competent and just the service representatives are ignoramuses (ignorami?), but I suspect that the technicians are incompetent and the service representatives make up some nonsense and hope that the customers will swallow it, instead of actually making sure that the technicians are not idiots. I would never recommend Lithia Chrysler Jeep Dodge on Old Seward Highway in Anchorage to anyone for anything. EVER. More
