We recently bought a 2014 Ford F 150 PU from Lithia on a Friday. Gave them 8000 dollars cash down payment and financed the remaining. Thankfully we bought the extended warranty because my husband went Satur Friday. Gave them 8000 dollars cash down payment and financed the remaining. Thankfully we bought the extended warranty because my husband went Saturday to pick it up, Sunday started to drive to Mt Bachelor and the transmission quit on it before the ink dried or we even had time to add it to our insurance. We had to pay for it to be towed to Robberson Ford for repair. It’s been sitting at Roberson’s for almost 3 weeks. Found out today they submitted a request for approval for warranty work to Lithia 1/22/21 and just today 2/4/21 was given the go ahead. We have been without a pickup for 3 weeks now because Lithia dropped the ball. Never buying another vehicle from this place! They suck. More
I have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars at lithia dealerships in the past 2 years. Well today they made 100% sure I will never spend one more cent with them. They literally do not care how much money dealerships in the past 2 years. Well today they made 100% sure I will never spend one more cent with them. They literally do not care how much money you have spent through them, or that you're a loyal customer. When I presented them with another dealerships offer on my cars, they won't match it. It's not unreasonable. They keep telling me my car isn't worth what I am asking..then why does another dealership want to give me that price? Why is it listed at that price on Kelly blue book? I told them straight up. If you don't give me this price I will never set foot in here again. I guess they're fine with losing hundreds of thousands of dollars over just a couple thousand dollars. If I were the general manager, I would be pretty upset at my employees for letting such a large account walk out the door to never return. Oh well. I am buying a new car at the end of the year. Lithia will not be on my mind at all when I do. Edit: Just confirmed today(2/1/2021) that they took my truck in on trade for $55,000 and sold it for $61,999. They made $7,000 off of my truck. It was brand new(2021) and needed nothing but a wash and vacuum. Now, Multiply that on about 10 other vehicles I have traded into lithia dealerships. Yet they couldn't help me get my girlfriend into a new piece of crap Jeep Renegade that we were just a couple thousand away from making a deal. They couldn't give me a SMALL break. Someone who has spent around $300,000 worth of vehicle purchases through them for the last 2 years. NEVER. EVER. Go to this dealership or any Lithia dealership for that matter. Save your money and shop elsewhere! Can't say you weren't warned! More
I purchased a used truck 2011 diesel Ford F 250 in bend at the lithia chrysler dodge jeep, a couple weeks ago. When I bought it I asked the salesman if it was a truck that needed DEF fluid. He told me no, at the lithia chrysler dodge jeep, a couple weeks ago. When I bought it I asked the salesman if it was a truck that needed DEF fluid. He told me no, they didn't start that until 2012. I unfortunately took his word for it didn't look. On my way home I stopped by the gas station and noticed it did need it. I texted him and he lied and said he told me he said he didn't think it did. Once off the lot driving home a check warning light came on and I texted the salesman about that as well. He told me they were finicky.. That's it. I see now I was getting no help from these people. They also forgot to give me the car fax so I asked for that as well. Since purchasing the truck I have driven it twice. I had to wait on a part because the windshield wiper wiper transmission was broken and had to purchase a new one. I then also noticed the wind shield wiper fluid is not hooked up and missing all the tubing for it and missing a nozel for one side. So they did not do an inspection on this vehicle or lied on their 170 point inspection. They cleared codes and didn't fix the problems, knowing they would pop up again. They hid the fact the windshield wiper transmission was broken. I was told I was going to get a full tank of diesel on my departure by the salesman. When I was about to leave he told me his boss said no, but talked him into 50$ since I came a decent distance to purchase the vehicle. They put 10 gallons in, which is around 25$ right now. Fix the problems on the car before you sell it. Do not hide it from the consumer. I have text messages to back this up. I want these issues fixed. This is no way to do business by lying and cheating your consumers. More
Be very cautious if buying a used vehicle from Lithia Chrysler Dodge of Bend. I would Rate then at zero!!, My wife and I after selling our Wrangler realized we needed that extra vehicle and set out to f Chrysler Dodge of Bend. I would Rate then at zero!!, My wife and I after selling our Wrangler realized we needed that extra vehicle and set out to find a replacement. We found a used Wrangler on the lot in Bend and took it for a short test drive. The vehicle seemed fine on the test drive and went back to the dealership to purchase. After the paperwork was complete, homeward bound we were as I followed my wife over Lava Butte. I was wondering why my wife was going 45 miles per hour on the highway but figured maybe she was just getting use to the new to us vehicle. WELL... when we arrived home , my wife explained to me that something was wrong with the vehicle once it had warmed up it had lost power. We called the Dealership that night to let them know there was an issue with the vehicle and we wanted to return it... After no response from the Dealership or Sales person, I drove it back the next afternoon after work. Once we were at the Dealership and spoke to the Manager, he said we could not return the vehicle as the 72 hour rescission ability on a contract no longer existed but they would bring the vehicle into the facility to detect and repair whatever was wrong with the vehicle. We agreed. 8 days later after calling multiple times for updates with no response we received a call stating that the Jeep had fouled a Sparkplug and that they would replace them all for us. 5 days later, they called stating that the vehicle was repaired and we could come pick it up. Well when we arrived to pick it up, the Service manager brought us out to the vehicle and I got in and started it up. Well now it had a major exhaust leak sound coming from the engine. I said to the so called service manager " now it has an exhaust leak " he replied that no, that's just how they sound and that he had his best mechanic do the repair.. I knew at this point what sort of incompetents' I was dealing with. I told him I was taking it to another shop to have them look at it. Well I did exactly that and what the other mechanic shop found was that in the process of replacing the sparkplugs in order to get access the rear sparkplug the exhaust manifold was removed and two of the bolts had been snapped off in the head, The manifold was now also cracked and missing an additional 3rd mounting bolt. After further investigation we found that the Ball Joints were in dangerously poor condition. Now this vehicle was advertised as that a full safety inspection was made on it and all was good. $1800.00 to repair the exhaust and replace ball joints. Lithia would only reimburse us $800.00. We also purchased a lifetime Oil Change Package when we purchased the vehicle that they say can not be refunded. When this was Smolich Chrysler Dodge Jeep this would have never happened. They have lost my business and all my family and friends and any clients of mine that would ask for a referral where to buy a car or make repairs.. I don't trust that they could change oil without screwing something up.... And to top it all off... not even an apology of any sort. We've made multiple repairs and fixed up the Jeep and finally know its safe to drive... So if you're thinking of purchasing a used vehicle from these guys, think twice and have the vehicle's safety inspection somewhere else first. It will save you the grief and dishonest business tactics they use. Signed, Very Unsatisfied Buyer More

Roger and Greg's A+ customer service My name is Peter and I purchased a truck from Smolich Ram. I had no idea the road ahead I had in store for myself. Roger was my salesman. I must say t My name is Peter and I purchased a truck from Smolich Ram. I had no idea the road ahead I had in store for myself. Roger was my salesman. I must say that I was not excited about buying a new truck. Roger came off right away very friendly, not pushy and an overall just good man. After test driving some trucks, I chose one and bought it. It was a done deal. The next day, I noticed some things on the truck that I really didn't like. I went back to Roger and told him my concerns and asked him if I could have another truck. Now, anybody that knows anything about buying a car or truck, knows that once you drive it off the lot, the dealership basically washes their hands of it and you are on your own. Well, when I went back to Roger, he immediately said it would be taken care of and all he cared about was me being happy. After a little while, Greg came into the picture. Knowing that the dealership had no obligation to replace the truck, Greg pulled strings and jumped hoops to make by buying experience a positive one. After hours and hours of trying to figure out a way to put me in another truck, Roger and Greg told me to pick another truck!!!! I literally almost fell to my knees in gratefulness. Greg had NO obligation to give me another truck. He did it because he knew I was not happy with the truck I was in. This is unheard of in the car industry. I can not be more grateful to these two men who did something in the car industry that I have never heard or imagined. A few weeks after I received my new truck, Roger called me to check in and see how I liked the truck. Roger is a perfect example of how a salesman should be. Both these men made it clear that you can run a profitable business and please the customer no matter what it takes. Thank you, thank you Roger and Greg for doing what you did and giving me the best car buying experience I have ever had. More
