Great experience I went to litchfield ford to purchase a used car because I was sure I could not afford new. Jeff Conboy not only got me into a new car but it was thou I went to litchfield ford to purchase a used car because I was sure I could not afford new. Jeff Conboy not only got me into a new car but it was thousands less than I had anticipated . Brian Dubosar gave me a great trade plus extra bonus incentives, I worked with Jeff T on the financing and warranties and he was very informative and efficient . The process was exceptional as I was unable to do much of it in person. They handled the entire process via email and phone and all I had to do was pick up my new car. I would definitely recommend this dealership and especially Jeff Conboy it was the easiest and most pleasant car purchase I have ever made More
Stressless I found a van that I was interested in on line and called the dealership. A human, Tom, answered the phone. In 11 seconds I found him to be forthrig I found a van that I was interested in on line and called the dealership. A human, Tom, answered the phone. In 11 seconds I found him to be forthright and honest. In 2 minutes we had a deal. He then connected me with one of his salesmen, Russ, who took my deposit over the phone. Three days later Russ delivered the van just as he had promissed. Great experience !! More
It was a great van buying experience ! I met with Russ Haas and from the very beginning he was honest and upfront. He answered all of my many questions. The whole experience was great. I will always check the inventory at Litchfield Ford from now on whenever I need a used vehicle or new Ford. In Finance I dealt with Jeff Tucker, again there was no pressure at all to buy ad ons that so many other dealers push for. Just straight forward, great service. I have purchased many vehicles over the years and this was by far the best experience I have had at a dealership. More
Certified Ford Escape Purchase I would NOT recommend dealing with this establishment. I purchased a CPO 2014 Ford Escape from them in August of 2016. The vehicle was NOT inspected p I would NOT recommend dealing with this establishment. I purchased a CPO 2014 Ford Escape from them in August of 2016. The vehicle was NOT inspected properly before I took delivery and I began verbalizing my concerns with both my salesmen, as well as the general sales manager. One of my biggest concerns was that the braking system appeared to be dangerous and the rotors had extreme rust, uneven wear and tear and the vehicle did not brake smoothly (vibrated when hitting the brake pad). It was confirmed by a private mechanic that the rotors were warped and needed to be replaced. When I called about these concerns, I was told the vehicle is "fine", but they would need to see it to inspect further.... Fair enough, so I agreed to make arrangements to have the vehicle brought all the way back to Litchfield ford (I live about 1.5hours away), and my expectations were made VERY clear both to my sales man (Steve) as well as the Sales manager Roman via telephone contact as well as email. Once the service department inspected the vehicle, I was told that the brake pads and rotors were "fine" and I was assured I was safe, however they agreed to resurface the rotors. When I learned this, I was upset and then requested to speak with the service manager Phil, who was rude and dismissive of me and ONLY agreed to put new brake pads after I had to insist they do at least that. I received the vehicle back I believe two days later, and sure enough the rotors look just as bad as they did before it went in, and the car still pulsated when I braked. Again I discussed this with Roman, who assured me that just because my car is doing that, I am still safe. He assured me. Fast forward to May 2017, when I reached out to Roman again to inquire about this issue, and verbalize my concerns that the pulsating is getting worse, and I get unsafe in my not even 3 year old vehicle. I again was told I was safe, and it most likely needed to have the rotors replaced!!!!!!! You have got to be KIDDING me I said... The same rotors that just 7 months ago you told me were fixed correctly and I was safe in?????? I was told by Roman that the repairs probably won't "cost as much as you think", and informed about the rebate is is being offered if you open up a credit card through ford 😡! Well fast forward two two days ago when i contactd ford corporate to report my concerns. I was directed by ford corporate to have my car looked at by a certified ford dealership, or they won't be able to do much, so I did... the next day..... it wasn't long before I received a call from the service department at a loca ford dealership, and told that the mechanic said "this is the worst pulsation that I have ever seen in my 15years of doing this", and confirmed that was absolutely NOT Safe. Litchfield ford not only treated me like a unaware consumer, took my $24k and jeopardized my safety all while assuring me I was safe. I would absolutely NOT recommend this establishment, they do NOT care about customer safety or satisfaction and The only thing they stand by is the xx they tell you and not the actual facts. I attempted to resolve this issue, however they are refusing to do the right thing and own up to their mistake and do the right thing! I will continue to pursue this, and escalate my reports to appropriate state authorities until they step up, admit they messed up and refund me for the 1k I just spent on fixing the botched brake job they they should of did in September! More
My F-150 Purchase I was looking for a Used / New 2016 F150 with specific options and found a vehicle at this dealership which fit my needs . I made the trip and met Russ . He was young , friendly and courteous . We found a vehicle that fit my needs and he worked on his day off to get the deal done . Great Job and many thanks .
