I was continually told that there would be no charge, and then when I was presented the bill there was a charge of $130. How could that be? I made an appointment ahead of time , was the first one there . It took about 2 hours to change oil and rotate tires . I watched PEOPLE (not one person) but several people that came for service after I did there . It took about 2 hours to change oil and rotate tires . So. ..here's my review. I went to Lipton Toyota looking for a used Rav 4. When I got there the salesman asked me what I was looking for and I responded th ..here's my review. I went to Lipton Toyota looking for a used Rav 4. When I got there the salesman asked me what I was looking for and I responded that I was looking for a Toyota Rav 4 and I told him that I did not want a sunroof and I did not want it to be black or white. I told him that I wanted a clean title (no accidents) and I told him that I had a specific budget that I wanted to stick to. They (he and his manager) immediately told me that they had a 2021 Rav 4 that had just come in with only 50,300 miles on it and that it had everything I was looking for. So, after working the numbers and running my credit (WHICH IS EXCELLENT) they said it would be $23,000 out-the-door. So I gave them the down payment and we did all the paperwork (I even called my insurance company and added it) but because by the time everything was said and done it was so late, they told me that they had to clean it up and make sure it didn't have any issues before letting me take it home. They stated that they hadn't done a full inspection on it and told me that they would have it ready for me to pickup the next day. I agreed to it but...when I came in the next day I was told that they could not sell me the vehicle (a car that was technically mine already). When I asked why...the first response I got from salesman 1 was that "the general manager said this vehicle was not allowed to be sold" but he did not give me a reason, when I insisted on a reason I got another response from salesman 2 who said "the vehicle had transmission issues" and needed repairs, and that if I still wanted the vehicle, that I would have to shell-out an additional $3,500 to which I responded no to and demanded to know what the actual reason or problem with the vehicle was. By this time no one was really interested in helping me so I went and asked one of the sales managers, (person 3) who was also "trying to help me" and he said that the problem was not the transmission but that because they had to do a full inspection/tune-up on the vehicle, it had incurred an additional $3,500 which I had to pay if I wanted the vehicle. I could not understand how they worked...I mean I had already done everything and I just needed to pick up a vehicle that I had already purchased and closed the deal on. They refused to let me take the car and refunded my down payment. But I know the real reason...they may think I am stupid BUT...after they refused to sell me the vehicle (unless I gave them the additional $3,500) and returned my down payment (let me state for the record that I had to come in 2 days later and pickup the check for the $$ in CASH that I put down)...that very same evening as I was heading back home, I went into their website and the vehicle was still on there, even though it was sold to me, it was still showing up for sale on their website, but...THE VERY NEXT DAY I went into their website and IT WAS GONE...SOLD!!! I just knew that the reason they did not let me take the car was because after they sold me the car and took it in for inspection they realized that the car was worth more and so they tried to get the additional $$ from me but because I refused to pay more they refunded my down payment and sold it to someone else. But it's okay because Karma is a b*xxx and I vow to not only leave this review here but I am going to repost this review on all of my social media accounts every single month for the next 12 months. This is the WORST BUSINESS AND COMPANY I'VE EVER DEALT WITH!!! So happy that I have such a large group of followers on my pages 👍🏼 More
