Up to my last service on Monday, I thought Lipton Toyota was the best dealership ever. On Monday I had a different experience when Andy lied not only on my receipt, but in the computer about my car, pulling was the best dealership ever. First of all, they need to clean out their display cases. Second, I brought my Scion in for a potentially dangerous electrical issue. After waiting 3 hours, they told me there was nothing wrong with the car or electrical system, even though it had several times shut the car down and locked the steering mid drive. Then they proceeded to try to sell me some fuel injection cleaner that had nothing to do with the electrical. They had no offers or suggestions about the problem, and seemed generally bothered that I kept asking about the problem I came there for. Then ignoring and minimizing the danger of the problem I was having, to try to sell me some service I don’t need was beyond sleezey and tone deaf. The next day, Sunday, I went to my local Subaru dealer and bought a brand new car there. I’m done with Toyota. More

They promised me conditions that were never honored, and I ended up with a debt that didn’t make sense, even after putting a down payment and paying for GAP insurance. The contract included charges and adjustments that were never clearly explained (including the so-called Market Value Adjustment, which they told me they would remove). After a little over a year, when I tried to resolve the situation, the dealership bought the car but still left me with thousands of dollars in unexplained debt. The worst part is how they take advantage of customers by not explaining taxes, financing, or extra fees clearly. I signed in good faith, trusting them, but I left with the feeling of being misled and taken advantage of. I do not recommend this dealership to anyone. If you are looking for honesty and transparency, this is not the place. Hopefully they change, because nowadays the priority should be taking care of customers, not deceiving them.” More

When I arrived for my appointment (10mins early), the advisor was with someone else and asked me to take a seat. 25mins later, I went back to the advisor. He accepts the car and I sign the docs... Get called back and brakes are $230 more than quoted. More
