My husband and I were in the market for a new vehicle back in March. After doing thorough research and visiting three different dealers including Carmax, Audi of Tyson's, and Lindsay Volkswagen, we were back in March. After doing thorough research and visiting three different dealers including Carmax, Audi of Tyson's, and Lindsay Volkswagen, we were torn with our decision of which car to choose. We started out with Lindsay Volkswagen and met with Lisan who gave us thorough information regarding Volkswagen. I have to say that we were very impressed with his product knowledge and pleased with his customer service. Even though we didn't purchase a vehicle that same day, we left very satisfied and content with our possible choice. However, we also visited Audi of Tyson's, since we initially had our hearts set for the Audi A3. But comparing the customer service experience between the two dealers, we kept talking about Lisan and the VW Jetta TDI that we test drove and really liked. Unfortunately for Audi, we did not receive that welcoming feeling, nor did we get the same friendly service that Lisan Rahman gave us at Volkwagen. So long story short, we immediately booked another appointment with Lisan, which resulted in a sale. Now, we still keep in touch with our sales man who reminds us about upcoming maintenance work! I was in the market for a new VW Golf TDI. I'd already test-driven it, and was looking for a place that would give me a good price, and that had a high feel-good factor in terms of service, customer care test-driven it, and was looking for a place that would give me a good price, and that had a high feel-good factor in terms of service, customer care and after-sales support. I was doing my shopping through the internet channel - I checked Lindsay's inventory on their website (seems a standard site for all VW dealers) and filled in an online form expressing my interest. Got a call from Trent the next morning (responsiveness of other dealers ranged from a call within 2 hrs, to no response at all!). I knew exactly what I wanted, and simply needed a final price - Trent provided this by email, with a breakdown of all additional charges I could expect (tax, title, processing, etc). The base price quoted was competitive, but the dealer processing fee of $399 was significantly higher than I'd seen elsewhere. Of the two other dealers that had lower out-the-door prices, one of them back-tracked when I insisted on an invoice by email before I would come in to the dealership - he'd made a "mistake" in his original quote AND in the mail when I asked him for confirmation. He was either incompetent or a liar, so was crossed off the list. The other dealer just came back to me too late. Throughout the process, Trent was responsive to my questions, providing answers I was looking for without pushing a hard sell. I went in to Lindsay VW for the first time already pretty sure that I was going to buy from them. The car was washed and standing out front when my wife and I arrived - we got there at 7:30pm. Trent talked us through some of the features, then handed over the keys for a test drive. Sitting through the paperwork was probably the only painful part of the process - it took much longer than the 35 min we were told it would, and this despite the fact that we were paying upfront and didn't require financing. By the time we left it was already about 9:45pm (including 15 min for the test drive and about 10 min on the phone with my insurance company). No comments on after-sales service as yet, but I will try to update this review when I've experienced it (positive or otherwise). More

I had been looking for a new car for about 2 months before my husband and I decided to stop by Lindsay VW and I am so thankful that I did! It was a combination of not liking certain cars or just not feeling good about a dealership or salesmen. And when dealing with salesmen, it’s natural to put your guard up because you just don’t know if they have your best intention at heart. Lucky for us, we were greeted by Lisan during our first visit and we immediately connected with him. After spending time with him discussing the type of car I was interested in, it was obvious that he wasn’t your typical car salesman. I have never felt so relaxed and comfortable at a car dealership and I think that speaks volumes about Lisan and the dealership. How refreshing! Three weeks after my first visit, I am now the proud owner of a 2011 GTI. The entire process was incredibly smooth and just felt “right”. Lisan got me the car I wanted for a great price and made the entire process smooth and stress free. I would recommend him and Lindsay VW without any hesitation. More

Initially I emailed a few dealerships in the Northern Virginia area....Volkswagen, Honda, Toyota inquiring about lease rates etc. Tom at Lindsay Volkswagen was incredibly receptive and friendly. He replied to all my requests via email, and sent me all the information I requested. The other dealerships were uncooperative and just wanted me to come to the dealership. When I first met Tom, my impression was he can't be a car salesman...he did not hassle me or take hours of my time. He was flexible, and helped me according to my schedule. He was not pushy at all! I am proud to be driving a Jetta that I love, and I look forward to many more future transactions with Volkswagen. More
