Last week my wife and I went to various dealers to look at vehicles. We went to Hyundai, Mercedes, KIA, Genesis and lastly Lindsey CGJR. When we went into Lindsey, no one talked to us initially until Jos at vehicles. We went to Hyundai, Mercedes, KIA, Genesis and lastly Lindsey CGJR. When we went into Lindsey, no one talked to us initially until Jose walked up and asked if we had been helped. We said no and he asked what we were looking for, we told him a pick up larger than a 1500 which we already had. He took us to the lot and showed us the granite colored 2500 heavy duty. we looked at it and the interior and liked it, but due to our schedule we had to leave, Jose recommended that we come back in the early AM the next day. He'd get the keys and we could really look at it. The next day we came back met Jose and really looked at the truck. Jose answered all the questions we had, even to the point on the chip shortage and its impact. We then sat down and had a discussions about financing and steps to take. We also asked if there was any negotiation room. He found out that we were repeat customers, former military etc. and was able to lower the price somewhat. Th rest is history, we bought the truck and are very happy. We do want to point out that Jose was key is this whole process as he initiated contact, was professional, yet personable and very knowledgeable about the products and systems in it. He coordinated the information gathering and was most helpful in determining the most applicable information to be used. Jose reflected well on Lindsey CDJR and we'll recommend Jose as a good point of contact for sales and assistance, Lastly, we give kudos to Matt for his help in conducting the financial actions required and his knowledge of the process and ability to answer our questions quickly and settle any issues we had on the finance process. I brought my daughter to this location in June to buy an advertised 2020 Jeep Cherokee with 8000+ miles on it. The salesperson was a lady named “Zion.” She was actually very thorough and really sold us on t advertised 2020 Jeep Cherokee with 8000+ miles on it. The salesperson was a lady named “Zion.” She was actually very thorough and really sold us on the Jeep Cherokee. (We were also looking at a 2020 Subaru Outback. I was getting ready to purchase the vehicle UNTIL the worst coached sales “anti”professional in the history of sales came to close the deal. He never negotiated nor substantiated the WHY behind the price, the WHAT in benefits, the HOW the price was levied nor the WHERE in price points. He literally strolled to the cubicle, asked what I was willing to pay, and then left saying the price is the price. The fact is-it was fair enough but the ATTITUDE was not. I have been in sales for over 30 years. I have 16 years in Sales Management. I have been a National Sales Trainer for a Fortune 500 company and I would have NEVER hired this guy. So we unceremoniously left the store. After thinking about how good the actual salesperson was, I told my daughter to call her back up. She called her on Monday and Tuesday -left detailed messages. By Tuesday, our criteria had changed and I decided to buy a brand new Jeep Cherokee. Tuesday evening we drove off the car dealership lot at another location with the brand new vehicle. To this day, the “good” salesperson never returned one phone call. Even if the vehicle was no longer available, she could have sold us on something else. The sales rep is only as good as it’s trainer and it showed. One week later, a former coworker was in the market to buy a Grand Cherokee and although he lived 3 miles from Lindsay Chrysler Dodge Jeep Jam, I encouraged him to go elsewhere and he did. Poor customer service. Poor follow up. Poor management. More
