While shopping for a new Cadillac ATS I spoke to Ian Wallace and Tony Swain about interest in the ATS. From the start Ian was great, super attentive and very helpful. I decided on a Gray ATS and they told me that they would get the car in from another dealer from another state, this was on a Monday. On Tuesday I changed my mind and wanted a Black ATS, Ian told me that it was too late and the car was en-route to Lindsay Cadillac and that he would not get a different car in for me, making me feel really guilty. With that said I told him that I would think about it and see if I can find a black ATS from another dealership as I really wanted black and I didn't want to make a mistake with my first ever car purchase. After unsuccessfully trying to locate a black ATS I wanted from other dealerships we can now fast forward to Friday. My Co-Signer went to the dealership to sign the papers for the Gray "in-stock" ATS and meet up with Ian. Ian took his paper work and told him he would be back in 10 minutes. 30 minutes go by and Ian didn't return. My Co-Signer had to leave and left without talking to anyone else. At the same time I was en-route to Lindsay to sign my portion of the paperwork. We called Tony and told him the co-signer had left after waiting for longer than 10 minutes but we were en-route to sign the paper work and finish the deal on the Gray ATS that was now "in-stock." To our surprise Tony told us that the car was actually not even there! They got another Gray ATS in and it wasn't the one they requested from another dealer for me and that it would possibly be there that evening after they close! With that said I decided to look at other cars as this started to seem like it was not "meant to be." I decided to call one of the other Cadillac dealerships that I was dealing with and to see if I can purchase their car instead since I was extremely disappointed that I would not be able to see / leave with the Gray ATS. On top of Tony telling us that the car wasn't there, he told us that we weren't even approved yet! Yet another Cadillac dealership said we were approved and ready to go. To further add to my surprise, while working the deal with the other Cadillac dealership, they told me that my GM Reward Points have already been redeemed by Lindsay and that I can't use them! It was $2000! That killed the deal with that dealership immediately! Makes me wonder if they did this on purpose so I had no choice but to deal with Lindsay. Keep in mind, this whole time we haven't signed a single document yet they withdrew our points. Saturday, I try to contact Ian to see if the Gray one actually arrived so that we can look at it and proceed with the purchase as we had no other choice since my points have already been redeemed and "expired" as of the 28th. After a VM message to Ian and Tony we received no return phone calls. Eventually we got a email from Ian stating he was busy with a client and will call us in 10, hours later we get another email stating someone else came in and he hasn't forgotten about us. Fast forward to 6 days later, surprise surprise, no email no phone call from anyone at Lindsay. The reason for the bad review? While Ian was extremely helpful up until the point where they realized they didn't get the Gray ATS they told me they got in. The deal they worked out was a very good deal but it doesn't matter if they didn't have the car as stated and don't return phone calls. Don't get me wrong, while I was very scattered, confused and all over the place on what car to buy that is no excuse to tell me they got a car in for me and that they would not get a different car for me in because of that reason to only not have the car! Why did they redeem my points before any paperwork was signed thus making it so that I could not use them anywhere else? I wanted to stop by and look at the car, I was down the street from them and we even told him that, yet no phone call back. Obviously he didn't want to sell the car to us anymore. More

My Experence with Lindsay Cadillac was awesome.! First, I contacted them over phone while i was deployed about a car. They were kind enough to hold my car for almost a month until i return. As an older person in my 60's, it has always been my experience to give praise and criticism when needed. Over the past several years, I have purchased two (2) new cars from Lindsey Cadillac. Throughout that time, I had repairs associated with accidents, unusual breakages, wear and tear, and just routine scheduled maintenance. In all fairness, I must say that I have always been treated with extreme respect and graciousness with all aspects of my dealings with Lindsey Cadillac. More recently, I really enjoy all of the mechanical changes, dependability, ride standards, and technology upgrades to the new models of Cadillac. The on-line communication associated with the On-Star and the Cadillac service apps. provides emergency assistance , routine travel directions, and other carefree feelings, not to mention updated information about your auto performance and maintenance needs. When visiting the service department, the Staff goes out of their way to ensure that you are provided excellent service that meets your schedule and demands. It is a very comfortable and inviting atmosphere and probably as good as it is going to get. I live in Maryland. It is a 80 mile round trip for me to go to Lindsey Cadillac. The location in Alexandria, Virginia is a little congested at times and they are currently renovating the roads and other facilities. But it is always worth the trip for me. My Cadillac is two (2) years old now and I looking forward to the newer models. I would not hesitate to begin a trip in my Cadillac, at a moments notice, to anywhere in the United States. More

Ian Wallace is professional, honest, genuine and extremely knowledgeable regarding the Cadillac brand. Not only was he warm and welcoming over the phone, he went above and beyond the call of duty in retrieving information, getting back to me and making the transition into my new lease painless and actually enjoyable... I dare say exciting! The day after I had searched the internet for pricing on a Cadillac SRX - Ian responded immediately. It was a "snow day" and just about everyone was closed but Ian was making his calls. He was friendly, well informed and made me feel as though he was genuinely concerned about my interest. Contrary to some other calls I had received which would not discuss pricing on the phone... Ian diligently worked to get right back to me. He got Tony Swain the Sales Manager on a conference call with me... I was due to come out of my lease... they informed me of a great lease program and moved me right into my next lease with Cadillac. For two days they worked with me on the phone and reaffirmed in writing everything they had promised. I did my homework... No ONE could meet their pricing. They had me driving out in a 2014 SRX with Navigation, 4 wheel drive, Luxury edition in 4 days. I love the infotainment system, the ride is even better, (even though it was great to begin with) ... I love this SRX! We left Lindsay and picked up the phone to friends and family to tell them about the car and encourage them if they could buy out of state to work with Ian Wallace at Lindsay to buy their next car. The Mercedes owner who accompanied me to make the transaction commented that Cadillac just might be their next lease... we love the car and couldn't have asked for better care than Ian, Tony and the team at Lindsay Cadillac! Having said that, I'd also like to note ... that in terms of service over the last three years on my 2011 SRX.. the Cadillac dealers across the country in WNY, Mid-West and Mid-Atlantic have been phenomenal. They always make you feel well taken care of and bend over backwards to take care of you. Love the maintenance program on their lease and how hard they work to make your experience beyond positive. My experience was terrific from the very beginning to the end. Malick was extremely helpful and courteous. I work in the customer service arena and find that there is nothing more frustrating than the sales end. Malick was extremely helpful and courteous. He gave his undivided attention to me and he listened. Frankly speaking, that is what made me hang in there and conduct the business I had hope to take care of. I am not an impulsive shopper nor do I make snap shot judgements. As I worked to purchase the car that I wanted Malick was very patient and was able to show me other options that worked out very well in the end. I am a Mercedes Benz Lady.
