Jon Thank you for taking the time to review your experience here and thank you for purchasing your 2014 Dodge Charger from our dealership. I am very grateful that we have this platform to discuss what transpired and I am very grateful that all correspondence you have had with my team is documented and timestamped. You chose some pretty harsh words, and I would appreciate the opportunity to speak on the truth for a moment. My family has been here for almost 60 year and three generations because we do clean business. First, You purchased a car with a NJ driver’s license. We came to understand that you were in the process of moving to PA, but at the time you bought your used car you had not completed the necessary paperwork for this to be official. It is state law that the vehicle be registered where the buyer has their valid driver’s license. This is why, at the time you had to process everything and pay tax in the state of NJ until your NJ license was surrendered and you had your official PA license. This is the reason, not based on specific property holdings. We process many new and used car deals out of state. It was after your purchase when you decided to switch to PA. We have the time and date of your text “Tax/Reg to PA. Sorry to whoever’s doing the paperwork” you said. At that time we needed your PA driver’s license in order to cancel the NJ tax and motor vehicle and process it for PA. The waiting you are referring to starts now but I will detail why. Our message to you… “Still waiting on your PA license.” Your message back, I won’t go into the details given this format but you were in the hospital with a family member and provided details which we have, then you said “I know I understand temp will run our and if month. Family comes before all. I will get it done and have it to you guys as soon as I get a chance. Appreciate you reaching out.” Then when we followed up some time after you stated you were still in the hospital. All of this is documented at length. When you got out you still did not have the official PA license only a temporary and you stated that you would be able to process it on your own with the temporary license where our channels required an official PA license. It was at this point when we agreed to simply allow you to do it on your own if it was easier and refund you the money. For the record, your money was sent to you in full. We are a middle man in processing sales tax and motor vehicle fees. This is always processed exactly and even a penny of overage goes back to our clients. In regards to the vehicle, everything was fine at delivery, you were completely satisfied with the condition and the drive for some time after as well! We stand behind every vehicle and if something develops after the fact we are always willing to work with our clients till they feel comfortable. Even in a scenario like yours on a pre-owned vehicle with almost 70,000 miles. We are happy to help and still are. Things may come up after the fact that we cannot predict, that is the risk with a higher mileage vehicle. But my family and our team are always happy to help! SO even in light of your unwarranted slander we are here for you in any way you need us to be. I am very grateful that every step of your purchase and our dialogue is documented and I would be happy to discuss this with you in more detail.
