most pleasant automobile purchase I have ever experienced!!! I have bought a lot of cars in my lifetime so I am sensitive to the sales games that car dealers tend to employ. I had tried to buy a Hybrid Lincoln MKZ for a month from a closer dealership but got s sensitive to the sales games that car dealers tend to employ. I had tried to buy a Hybrid Lincoln MKZ for a month from a closer dealership but got so frustrated by their incompetence that I asked a friend for a referral and he sent me to WP Lincoln. The showroom and staff are all professional. There are A LOT of cars in the lot, which indicates a successful dealer to me. Everyone said hello, shook my hand, introduced themselves and told me their position. Right away I was impressed by the showroom. My salesperson, Anthony, and I started out pricing a fully loaded 2012 hybrid but could not come to terms that suited me. He couldn't explain why the numbers came out as they did and my math-competent husband (via cell phone) could not get them to add up. So I left and told Anthony to find me a base model (not easy to do in a luxury car apparently) and offered four color options that I liked. Within 12 hours, I got a call that he found me a car and we could move forward on the lease. The trade in on my car was a fair number, the montly lease was within my budget and the rest of the process went quickly and smoothly. All in all, I had the car I wanted within a week. A couple of minor complaints: the car did not have a full tank of gas when I received it (and I wouldn't have known upon driving it out as the dashboard is very hard to learn); the windows were not cleaned properly (something that really bothered me as a female buyer - clean the car properly!) and the Bluetooth doesn't have clear reception to people I call. On the last issue, I brought the car to Service to have them check out the Bluetooth. (End result, it worked perfectly when they tried it.. typical) DJ in service is top notch and they had my loaner car ready for me when I arrived. They confirmed my service appointment by email (their emails should have their logo on it, since I didn't recognize the signature for my first service visit). These are small things but as someone in sales, they were noticeable. Other than the inability to explain the first lease price when we talked about the higher priced car, I would say these folks know what they're doing. Since I had had such a rotten experience with another dealer (who, by the way, called me three weeks after I picked up my Lincoln from these guys to see if I still wanted to order a car) I was happy to be treated professionally. The entire group at WP Lincoln work to be professional and they succeed on many levels. One unprofessional thing that happened was they called me on the title of my trade in after three weeks. I had given them a clean title and didn't know why there was a problem, but most importantly, I really didn't care. They now owned that car (and apparently sold it quickly) so why were they bothering me with some nonesense about the title? It came across as highly unprofessional. You're a dealership, deal with it! Just let me enjoy my new car and not worry about the old one I traded in. And the new car is a dream. Who knew you could get such a luxurious hybrid for such a good price? And it doesn't have to look like a cartoon driving around town like the one everyone else raves about.... Stick with a classy Lincoln. BTW - this is my first American made car, ever. And I love, love, love it! More
I've been going to them for service for 18 years. The are the reason I buy only used Lincolns. Only had one or two bring backs and it was taken care of right away.
