Michele Kenton was amazing and, the most important,, non pushy car sales person what is almost impossible to find in these days, we asked her to give us some space and not to call us every day because we ne pushy car sales person what is almost impossible to find in these days, we asked her to give us some space and not to call us every day because we needed some time to decide in between Tahoe, Yukon and Aviator. She followed through and that’s one of the reasons among the brand and everything car offers why we choose Lincoln White Plains. When came to closing the deal, finance people are different fruits. Blackmailing, milling and other stuff to get more money out. Even I had $10.000 bank draft with me I decided not to put it down and went with lease. By coming from the similar industry I know very well how the system works so when I saw unbelievably high trade in a called a day. Would I return to that dealership. I would and I will. More
9 months, 5 loaners (should have been 7), two entirely different vehicles - all were factual problems, not some kind of baseless complaining. AVOID! Beware. Matthew A. Peretz 7/16/21 Lincoln case CAS3 different vehicles - all were factual problems, not some kind of baseless complaining. AVOID! Beware. Matthew A. Peretz 7/16/21 Lincoln case CAS32303585 Purchased a CPO 2017 Lincoln MKZ sometime in October 2020. The car was the best car I have ever driven.... aside from what follows: First loaner was for scratches and dirt that should have been cleaned before sale. Second loaner was for a sunroof leak... Third loaner was for a sunroof leak... Fourth loaner was for a sunroof leak. Fifth loaner was Jay’s car – sunroof leak. Then they decided it was not worth fixing, even though I loved the car and it had way more features than the Continental, which I did not realize. They took the car back, instead of fixing what any auto body shop could have fixed - and I bought a CPO Continental (2018) with 15K miles on it That meant I ended up in a more expensive car, with fewer features; no a/c seats, and no heated steering wheel or adaptive headlights… I assumed the Continental would at least have the same features as the MKZ – it is even a year NEWER than the MKZ. I chose the Continental in June of 2021 or thereabouts. For the last week (in July 2021) – Lincoln had my Continental, which should have meant the SIXTH loaner – but they stopped loaner programs, which is just insanely bad. Why? The Welcome Lights were failing and the steering wheel control over the radio was failing. Lincoln had to call a Lincoln corporate-level engineer to fix the car. I got the Continental back Wednesday, 7/14. The Welcome Lighting system works now. So I was right and Jay Reyes was inept and incorrect. This morning (7/21) the steering wheel control over the streaming station I listen to – radioparadise or Amazon Music HD – you cannot skip songs, nor can you change the volume control. As of 7/21 – new problems Nothing on the left side of the steering wheel works – the volume rocker and the track change buttons None of the cruise control buttons work AT ALL Service confirmed that parts need to be ordered. So, we are up to about 8-9 months of problems: I was: a) lied to by Jay Reyes - who told me I didn’t know how to work the car (the Continental that ended up needing a corporate engineer) regarding the Welcome Lighting and berated me for MONTHS about being too stressed out about the whole thing. And Lincoln could not fix a goddamned sunroof???????? That meant I ended up in a more expensive car, with fewer features; no a/c seats and no heated steering wheel or adaptive headlights… I assumed the Continental would at least have the same features as the MKZ – it is even a year NEWER than the MKZ. I won't have the use of my car for another week. Close to August 2021. 9 months, 5 loaners (should have been 7), two entirely different vehicles - all were factual problems, not some kind of baseless complaining. I would counsel you to NEVER, EVER buy a Lincoln - and most importantly to NEVER, EVER, EVER, deal with Lincoln White Plains. There is a very nice service advisor called Amelia - and she is basically the ONLY person to take my statements - which turned into facts - seriously. I have made all payments on the cars, but I have probably NOT had the use of either car for more than 60% of the last 9 months. Run like xxxx away from this dealership. Seriously. Unfortunately, the car is riddled with problems and I cannot go to another Lincoln dealership other than White Plains because I work too far from the others and I work 6 days a week. The dealership will try to tear my review apart because it is so incredibly negative - they will probably resort to some kind of ad hominem attacks against me to try to undermine the validity of my 9-month long fiasco in dealing with them. I plan to find someone in Lincoln Corporate management to report this to because they gave me a case number and wrote (allegedly) what happened and said it would be investigated - they don't even HAVE the more recent problems. I'm warning you - these are verifiable facts that I have documents for and that Lincoln certainly has documentation of in its service department computer. More
Bought Car on Cars.com and my experience was good Worked with Andy at Lincoln White Plains and did most of our contact on email. He was responsive. Was interested in a 2018 GMC Yukon but I live ou Worked with Andy at Lincoln White Plains and did most of our contact on email. He was responsive. Was interested in a 2018 GMC Yukon but I live out of town and have limited time so I negotiated slightly on price and they agreed to deliver the car to me and do the paperwork with me at my house. They had a professional driver and a dealership employee drop off the car, I sat in the passenger seat and did the paperwork for the loan, registration and the entire process took about 5 minutes. The car was exactly like it was in the picture, the only thing that was not right was there were no floor matts. When I contacted the dealership to inquire they quickly apologized and shipped me a new set of floor matts from Amazon Prime and gave me an additional $15 to get my car washed as a thank you. I would do business with Andy again. More
New management = Customer Ripoff "Under New Management" means 4X the price. I had brought our vehicle here for years. Last fall, I've had them mount and balance my winter tires - $9 "Under New Management" means 4X the price. I had brought our vehicle here for years. Last fall, I've had them mount and balance my winter tires - $95. Then yesterday, I get a small nail in the tire. I bring it in, trusting they'll do a great job as before, until I got the bill - $120!!! When any and every tire shop will charge at MOST $40 to patch a hole and remount/rebalance the tire. I was polite and calm, trying to calculate how is it that mounting and balancing four tires is $95, yet patching a hole (10 min. labor), and remounting/rebalancing a single tire is $120? The manager got defensive, and along with his two other service advisors proceeded to tell me this is how much time it took their tech. Sure, but fundamentally, when you charge $95 to mount and balance FOUR tires, and then proceed to screw a return customer with a $120 for a SINGLE tire, don't expect them to leave with a positive experience. They also constantly tell you to leave them great review with Lincoln corporate when they call. Well, you can count on me being quite honest with my feedback when they call. They've seen the last of my dollars. More
