Started off great, almost ended bad... My husband and I drove an hour to to get a chevy equinox we fell in love with. We had been looking for a used suv for weeks and were so happy to find one that fell in our budget. We worked with Chase in the beginning - he was extremely friendly and easy to talk to. We felt like he did a good job in selling us the car. The car was used, so there were quite a few scratches and scuffs around the exterior. Chase explained that it would be no problem getting the equinox detailed to ensure it looked great when we took it off the lot. After deciding to purchase the vehicle, we had to leave and come back towards our hometown to get the paperwork and details done through a local credit union ( better interest rate). When we went back to pick up our car (2 days later), it had not been detailed as it had been promised it would be by Chase (who happened to not be there when we picked it up). Rick, another sales consultant was there as I was explaining why I was upset and he took the initiative to get us taken care of. So, we ended up taking the car home that day and he had someone come pick it up from our home the next day to take back to the dealership to be buffed and detailed. The driver then brought our car back to us looking much better that same evening. So, thanks to Rick our experienced ended as well as it began. I'm not sure if maybe this ended up just being a lack of communication, or something slipping through the cracks, but I felt like we were blew off when we showed up and the car hadn't been touched. When Rick made sure to follow through with everything and get us taken care of, I felt much better about the situation. Overall the experience was pretty good. More

It was well worth the 8 hour drive to buy my car here! My son and I planned a trip to Ohio to visit UNOH so I thought I'd use my free time while he was on campus and "window shop" for a used car. I searched their available inventory and found a few cars I wanted to test drive but I was dreading car shopping, I was an out of towner, didn't have my husband with me and I had my teenager in tow. When I arrived Saturday morning, Todd greeted me, I told him what I was looking for, he got the keys and I went for a test drive. As quick as that. He was very helpful, knowledgeable and I actually enjoyed my drive. No pressure from Todd when I told him I needed to think about it. I left the dealership, went to a few other dealerships and decided I wanted the car at Lima Auto Mall so I returned. I told Todd I had to pick up my son and had little time to haggle. We discussed price, got my car appraised for the trade in, got my loan approved (at a low APR), they detailed the car, filled it up and then Todd showed me how to "operate" the car. (Safety features, Sync bluetooth to my phone, OnStar, Sirius etc, all the things my 14 year old car didn't have). Then, I was off in my new car! I did call the dealership an hour later because I couldn't figure something out. Again, Todd to the rescue! He offered to drive to my location and show me but I opted for his phone help. Once he walked me through it, we were headed back home in my new car. My husband and I buy a car every year or two so this wasn't my first experience at a dealership but it was my first positive experience. We will gladly make the 8 hour trip to buy from Lime Auto Mall again. I'm happy, my husband is happy and we will be back next fall to buy my son a 4x4 or AWD at Lima Auto Mall. Because of my experience buying the car, I have faith that the service department will operate in the same professional manner. Although I didn't have to have any service work done, It puts me at ease knowing that when my son is away at college, he will have the service department at Lima Auto Mall to do any repair work on his vehicle if needed. It's one less thing for me to stress about. More

Our car dealership here locally did not have anything we were interested in. I made a call to find out more about vehicle, and was put in touch with Dave Osborn. With a small deposit he was able to hold vehicle till I could come and look at. Had it not been for the excellent conversation with Dave, we could have been in and out in less than an hour. The loan was already taken care of and paperwork as well. All I had to do was sign and drive away vehicle. All the stuff you spend hours in a dealership taking care of was already done, which is nice when you are 2 hours away. I have already recommended Lima Auto Mall to my friends and family. More

I spent many hours with Chase through the test drive and the next afternoon we worked from one PM until I drove off the lot in my new car well after closing time. Chase never pressured me and never said anything about the dealership being closed over an hour when we finished. The only bad thing about Chase is that he is very gullible, since it was April Fools Day the Finance Manager and I played on Chase. He took it hook line and sinker. Chase made the buying experience very enjoyable and today I consider Chase my friend and salesman for as long as I buy cars. More
