Got a car with serious problems I want to be fair and would rather share what my experience was like with lifetime auto connection. It's a bit long but very honest. I bought a To I want to be fair and would rather share what my experience was like with lifetime auto connection. It's a bit long but very honest. I bought a Toyota sienna 2014 from lifetime auto connection on 9/18. The car had 55k miles and was $14,750. They provided carfax record and courtesy inspection by Firestone. The inspection looked great and the car ran pretty solid. When I took the car home it made some noise. My friend thought it's the hydraulic lifter. After popping up the hood, the coolant cap was misplaced by something else. The real cap was found hanging between tubing. The back wiper was falling apart. There go the courtesy inspection by firestone! I drove to chicago and back, took it to the mechanic friend at Toyota to fix the noise problem on 9/25. The mechanic checked engine oil which was below the dipstick!! The engine burnt oil pretty significantly (like around a total of 2 qts after 2500 miles within 2 weeks). The mechanic checked the car history and told me the car has serious problem, oil gel/oil sludge. This problem was well documented prior to or during the car auction. Acfording to the service log, the car was also taken to Toyota service center in Frederickbirgh to diagnose the problem with drive train while it was with lifetime auto connection. The problem is already documented in the service history and would be seen by all mechanics. I believe lifetime auto knew the car has serious problems. The mechanic said the only way to fix the problem (oil Sludge and burning oil) is to get a new engine which can be very expensive. The 60000 miles drive train warranty with Toyota was voided due to negligence. I called Lifetime Auto regarding the problem and to see if they can do anything. I just got the car for a week. I was told by the owner that the car was fine; The car was taken to Toyota for a recall; and Toyota denied the warranty because I wasn't the first owner. His answers really threw me off! The toyota service log didn't show any recall services performed while the car was with Lifetime Auto Connection. And toyota warranty is transferable. To make it worse, the owner blamed me for not purchasing his extended warranty. The owner should know better that no warranty will cover damages due to negligence. Simply these are just plain Excuses/lies. Be very careful when buying car from Lifetime Auto Connection. More
Couldn't have asked for better service! Friendly staff and low no haggle prices. The car was worth $2400 more than I paid for it the moment we drove it off the lot.
