I was told during the buying process I would receive one complementary oil change. I can change the oil myself, but I brought it in because I wanted them to check out the rear suspension, so I figured I'd complementary oil change. I can change the oil myself, but I brought it in because I wanted them to check out the rear suspension, so I figured I'd get a free oil change (at 3000 miles) while I was there. I had a squeaking noise when the rear suspension traveled a fair amount (small bumps usually didn't cause it), so I asked them to check it out. They lubricated some bushings, changed the oil and gave it back to me. The whole process took probably 2 and a half hours because they don't actually schedule appointments, they just tell you to come in. My actual service probably only lasted 20 minutes. They charged me for the oil change and lubrication, and when I told him I was promised a free oil change, he said "we don't do that here, which salesman told you that"? At that point I was pretty angry, and what didn't help the fact was that the rear suspension was still squeaking, even on the way home from the dealership. I will not be returning there. Edit: Forgot to mention, recommended oil change for the car is 7500-10000 miles under normal usage as stated in the manual, and the sticker they put up in my car after they changed the oil was a 3100 mile interval. I put my 2004 Ford Escape in for service on Friday, 1/4 not expecting a quick fix as my mechanic was unable to diagnose the issue. I tried calling Service dept on Saturday for a status. I was put on hold not expecting a quick fix as my mechanic was unable to diagnose the issue. I tried calling Service dept on Saturday for a status. I was put on hold, waited 10 mins, hung up and redialed. Again I was put on hold, had to hang up and redial. This time the main line put me on hold because they couldn't get a hold of Service, they transferred me and I got a voice mail. Eventually I got a status from a woman after a GREAT deal of frustreation. Monday & Tuesday a man was answering and was prompt courteous and helpful. Tuesday he told me (virtually promising) he should have a loaner Wednesday morning. I called today, Wednesday morning, and the woman answers and tells me they have no loaners!!!! I AM BEYOND FRUSTRATED!!!!!!!!! THIS IS THE LAST TIME I USE LICCARDI for servicing my vehicle!!!! Finally got through to Ray and feel much better. Service experience would be much better if this woman didn't answer the phone. I would rank service 4 or 5 if not for her. More
my experience with them has not been a good one. i took my 2006 mercury mountaineer in for service and they said i needed brakes tires and a radiator, so i waited about a week or two and they changed the r my 2006 mercury mountaineer in for service and they said i needed brakes tires and a radiator, so i waited about a week or two and they changed the radiator and calls me and says the car is ready i said ok how much is it he said 800 and change i forgot the exact amount then i go i thought you said it was covered under extracare he goes you have extracare you should had told me. then i took it in for an oil change which i shouldnt have done because they didnt really check it they drew lines down all the boxes on my multi point inspection paper and put a black oil change sticker in my window it doesnt have the name of the dealer or when i should have it serviced again. and a few days ago i was at a stop light the car stalled and now when i idle i get this hard shaking coming from the engine. i should had went to Malouf Ford Lincoln instead...they are a lot better when it comes to doing a multipoint inspection More
