never again Let me start by saying I have bought/leased 5 or more vehicles here over a 8 year period. The sales were some good, last one not so good. But the sale Let me start by saying I have bought/leased 5 or more vehicles here over a 8 year period. The sales were some good, last one not so good. But the sale is a one time thing every few years service is not. IF and again I say IF it is a minor problem maybe you'll get out unscathed. Mine was 2 vehicles two separate and by no means complicated problems a year apart. The first one took 3 visits being towed back 3 times. After picking it up and driving a whole 6 miles it was dead and towed back again. Lost time 5 days with no vehicle or loaner. A year later a different vehicle in for for a minor problem four times over the course of a year. It was returned repeatedly not repaired each time with a different story. Ultimately I had to get Ford involved when Ford questioned this dealer about this problem they flat out lied saying I missed service appointments. That never happened and if you think I was contacted by Liccardi to even ATTEMPT to resolve the problem dream on. Sales was aware of the problem as was service. Follow up follow through follow anything...nope!!. But I have been contacted by the salesman to ' trade it in". It was at this time 2 years old with 10,000 miles. I guess they figure the answer to my problem is not fix it and I'll buy a new one. I will choose my selling dealer very very carefully after this. If this is any example of how you treat a repeat customer trust me I will NOT be buying it at Liccardi Ford. You either fulfill ALL your customers needs or you don't period. Ultimately, after all this, I no longer trusted their honesty, integrity or even their ability to resolve the problem. My only option was to go to a different dealer to get it repaired. In case you do not know how the dealer game goes I'll explain. When they didn't make the sale you aren't their first priority for service. Biggest issue is you don't know any of this till you have a problem and then its too late. Total time with out my vehicle so far is about 25 days. My serious suggestion is keep going west on 22 there are a lot of other dealers to choose from. More
Run around We brought in our 2010 F150 Harley Davidson for a rattling noise when you press the accelerator. They took it for test drive and said nothing is wrong We brought in our 2010 F150 Harley Davidson for a rattling noise when you press the accelerator. They took it for test drive and said nothing is wrong. My husband went with them to help them with the noise. Service manager says its a heat shield, they have to order it. Don't worry its under warranty. We will call you when its here. 2 months go by and we call to find out status. We call on a Monday. They take our name and number and will call us back. We call back Wednesday and again the same routine. Finally on Thursday I demand service manager or supervisor. Brian gets on the phone and says he will handle this not to worry, he will call us back. Saturday I call and ask for Brian and of course he is off. Brian finally calls back Monday and says bring the truck in. We bring it in and they say its not heat shield its the clamps. Needs 2 new clamps at $2.00 a piece. But guess what, its not covered under warranty so we had to pay for labor. Nothing but run arounds with this place. Never going back. Rather drive 20 mins farther way. More

It took them 3 days to even begin to look at the truck, and only after repeated calls to check in on the status. It took them until Wednesday evening to call me back with a diagnosis. I found the staff to be extremely unprofessional and unresponsive. I would not use this dealership again to either purchase another vehicle or service it. More

During this time I asked several times when the truck would be taken in. I was finally told that the service people were on break and that was the hold up. You just lost my business. Will never patronize your dealership again. Unconscionable customer service. More
We had excellent service when we leased the Ford Edge in July 2013 and I went in for my service last weekend. I knew it would be quick service. I made the appointment online and had to reschedule. I brought my 2011 Explorer to Liccardi Ford because I received a letter from Ford to have a couple things looked at ("Customer Satisfaction Program" AKA Recalls). When I called for an appointment, David received a letter from Ford to have a couple things looked at ("Customer Satisfaction Program" AKA Recalls). When I called for an appointment, David answered the phone. He was very pleasant and extremely helpful in explaining what the letters were all about. He set me up with an appointment that was convenient for me and set me up with a loaner vehicle so I can get to work while the service was being performed. On the day of my appointment, David greeted me with the same friendly demeanor and I was in and out and on my way to work in no time at all! He had my paperwork and the loaner ready and waiting. He called me early afternoon to let me know that my car was ready and that I can come in by 5 to return the car to him or 8 and return the car to the cashier. This was such a wonderful option! I didn't feel that I had to rush to leave work just to be sure that I'm to the dealer on time to return the car. Dealing with Liccardi Service was a breath of fresh air ... all dealerships should take tips from this one - especially from David! Thanks Liccardi and David in the Service area! I will be back as you are now my dealership of choice for service of my Explorer AND will be for my F150 as well! More
I was told during the buying process I would receive one complementary oil change. I can change the oil myself, but I brought it in because I wanted them to check out the rear suspension, so I figured I'd complementary oil change. I can change the oil myself, but I brought it in because I wanted them to check out the rear suspension, so I figured I'd get a free oil change (at 3000 miles) while I was there. I had a squeaking noise when the rear suspension traveled a fair amount (small bumps usually didn't cause it), so I asked them to check it out. They lubricated some bushings, changed the oil and gave it back to me. The whole process took probably 2 and a half hours because they don't actually schedule appointments, they just tell you to come in. My actual service probably only lasted 20 minutes. They charged me for the oil change and lubrication, and when I told him I was promised a free oil change, he said "we don't do that here, which salesman told you that"? At that point I was pretty angry, and what didn't help the fact was that the rear suspension was still squeaking, even on the way home from the dealership. I will not be returning there. Edit: Forgot to mention, recommended oil change for the car is 7500-10000 miles under normal usage as stated in the manual, and the sticker they put up in my car after they changed the oil was a 3100 mile interval.
