I currently own a Ford Mach E and a Jeep Grand Cherokee L. I have enjoyed Ford vehicles. So I recently contacted this dealership about a Ford Bronco Black Diamond to replace my Jeep. It is listed on the L. I have enjoyed Ford vehicles. So I recently contacted this dealership about a Ford Bronco Black Diamond to replace my Jeep. It is listed on their website and on cars.com for 47k So after about a week of phone tag with someone names Rebecca, I decided to call the main number and ask for any salesperson. When I finally got to speak with a salesperson at Liccardi Ford. The person immediately told me that the car advertised on the website for 47k would have a markup (unadvertised) by 15k. He was adamant that he was being transparent for some reason. I disagreed, transparent would mean that the 15k would be a part of or advertised online upfront. I'm not knocking any dealership having a markup on a new car. I have an issue when the markup is not being advertised on the dealerships' websites or other online sources. This gives me the impression that the dealership is hiding this false advertising from the manufacturer that may have rules. I'm sure Lacacardi Ford and other dealerships like them would not admit that they elevate the price above MSRP in this manner. In my opinion, the market will not always be this way, and I hope that customers will hold dealers like this responsible for this these type of false advertising in the future by not purchasing cars from dealerships like this so that can go out of business. I plan to report Laccardi Ford's practices to the Ford Corporation, and if my report can prevent them from getting car allocations in the future, that will be worth my time and effort. I don't recommend this dealership under any circumstances to purchase a new or used car. More
