Never, ever buy a used car as is from this dealer "as is". We were verbally promised that anything wrong w/the car we were purchasing would be fixed once looked at by our mechanic, as a condition of "as is". We were verbally promised that anything wrong w/the car we were purchasing would be fixed once looked at by our mechanic, as a condition of purchasing it "as is." This was untrue. We could not get a factory warranty because of the miles on the car we were told. Once they had our signature, they did not fulfil their verbal promise to fix a brake issue. They went back to the "as is" and said that our signature was the commitment, not their verbal assurance to fix anything a certified mechanic found as an issue. We are not mechanics, and feel we were definitely taken advantage of. We are very disappointed with their decision to not uphold their commitment to make the repair that we even told them about (indicator light came on when driving off the lot), and will not be a repeat customer. I was told during the buying process I would receive one complementary oil change. I can change the oil myself, but I brought it in because I wanted them to check out the rear suspension, so I figured I'd complementary oil change. I can change the oil myself, but I brought it in because I wanted them to check out the rear suspension, so I figured I'd get a free oil change (at 3000 miles) while I was there. I had a squeaking noise when the rear suspension traveled a fair amount (small bumps usually didn't cause it), so I asked them to check it out. They lubricated some bushings, changed the oil and gave it back to me. The whole process took probably 2 and a half hours because they don't actually schedule appointments, they just tell you to come in. My actual service probably only lasted 20 minutes. They charged me for the oil change and lubrication, and when I told him I was promised a free oil change, he said "we don't do that here, which salesman told you that"? At that point I was pretty angry, and what didn't help the fact was that the rear suspension was still squeaking, even on the way home from the dealership. I will not be returning there. Edit: Forgot to mention, recommended oil change for the car is 7500-10000 miles under normal usage as stated in the manual, and the sticker they put up in my car after they changed the oil was a 3100 mile interval. I bought my first new car on President's Day. All the contracts list the car at 25 miles but that day I realized it was almost 600! The MyFord Touch radio breaks on a daily basis. I brought it right back contracts list the car at 25 miles but that day I realized it was almost 600! The MyFord Touch radio breaks on a daily basis. I brought it right back to the dealer and they told me they wouldn't help me and that he didn't build the car so it's not his problem. They also issued me a temporary registration for the wrong car. My temporary license plates are expiring in a day and they haven't gotten me new ones yet. I reported them to Ford corporate and also filed a claim with the Attorney General's office of Consumer Affairs and they're opening an investigation this week. Please don't shop here; save yourself the hassle. More

I purchased my 2013 Ford Fusion one month ago. Loving the car more and more every day! The entire experience, from shopping to purchasing, was smooth and enjoyable! The sales employee, Val, was very laid bac car more and more every day! The entire experience, from shopping to purchasing, was smooth and enjoyable! The sales employee, Val, was very laid back and did not try to "sell" me the car or rush my decision. A few days after driving the car off the lot, I called with questions about interior functions I was not familiar with and Val returned my call within an hour with definite answers. I would absolutely recommend Liccardi Ford to future car seekers. Happy 2013 Ford Fusion Owner! More
It was my first time looking to finance or lease a car. I went over my options and payments with the salesperson until we came up with an option that made the most sense for me. Wasted 5 HOURS of our time only to get to finance and be told that the monthly payment amount given was a "mistake". These jackasses were trying to to bilk more down payment money out of us. We first came i told that the monthly payment amount given was a "mistake". These jackasses were trying to to bilk more down payment money out of us. We first came in about a lease deal we saw on line. $189 a month and $3333 due at signing for a 2013 Ford Edge. Well we found out that was a lie. To get a $189 a month deal , you needed to plop down $7000? We were told you had to read the very tiny fine print. I call it lying and bait and switch. Then we went to buying a used 2010 Edge. Found one on the lot and said how much w/ a $2500 down payment and 76 mos. to pay. With perfect credit we got it down to $210 a month. Mind you this vehicle was 3 years old and had over 50K miles on it, but my partner liked it so we said fine. After waiting another hour for the seemingly idle Finance guy (Sean?) we sit sown to do the paper work while they are detailing the car and we are told the payments are $249 a month. What??? That's not what we were told. The slippery sales guy based the $210 on my offer of 5k down for a different Edge in imepccable condition and that was if and ONLY if we could get the vehicle for 20K. The "manager" said no, so the offer of 5k was off the table and I was only willing to do half for a lesser vehicle. That made sense to me, but you folks were hanging on to the 5 grand. So essentially we were given the incorrect information, the owner refused to suck up the mistake and we walked away. It is my intention to contact the NJ Attorney General's Office, Better Business Bureau and NJ Consumer Affairs about how Liccardi does business. Maybe "Shame on You" Arnold Diaz would like this story, but I will NEVER recommend your dealershipa and work with over 5 thousand people who always buy cars and live in your area of business. Shame on You. More
