My wife and I stopped into Liccardi Ford in Watchung, NJ on June 1, 2013 to inquire about purchasing/leasing a 2013 Ford Escape. We were greeted within in a few minutes of walking through the door. We had stopped in after speaking on the phone with a gentlemen named Angel. Angel was helpful and was able to answer many questions we had. When we got to the dealership a gentlemen went and notified Angel that we had arrived. However, Angel was not the gentlemen who we ended up speaking to. Angel greeted us and introduced us to Alex. Alex was great to deal with, he was extremely friendly and kind and not at all pushy, and a pleasure to deal with. He answered any questions we had and was very honest in his answers. I had done a great deal of research on Ford Escapes before stopping in to the dealership. I had not originally planned to go in to the dealership that night with the intent to drive away with a reliable car, but I am glad that I did end up signing a lease for a new car. Furthermore I appreciated that I was given a fair deal on my trade in (2005 Honda CRV). I was not completely satisfied with the offer they made me for my trade but it was reasonable. My wife and I especially appreciated that we were able to get the deal completed at such a late hour on a Saturday night. We were especially pleased that Alex,and the general manager, I think his name was Mike, went above and beyond that night to help us complete our purchase. I would definitely reccommend Alex Pribula at Liccardi Ford to anyone in the market for a new car. More

I got a quote for a 24 month lease on an Escape SEL from Rich in person. Didn't pull the trigger. Came back over 2 weeks later and Rich honored it. I went to the dealership about a year ago and went in with the thought of getting a full sized pickup truck. I was immediately told that I couldn't afford it even with my trade in. I was asked why I want with the thought of getting a full sized pickup truck. I was immediately told that I couldn't afford it even with my trade in. I was asked why I wanted a truck and I explained for towing and fishing and outdoor activities. They suggested looking at a ford explorer. (meanwhile as this was happening they already had the keys to my vehicle and said they wanted to value my car as trade in). Wasn't really interested in the explorer due to the fact that I wanted a truck. As they went through paperwork and started talking numbers on what they can "push an explorer out for" They came to a very good lease offer for me. So great job on the pricing part, poor poor service on "pushing customers". What I don't understand is you have a fully loaded SUV that you pushed out the door that cost 40k total, the basic 4 door trucks cost 40k total, roughly, and yet I couldn't afford it??? I'm dreading when the lease is up because I feel like I am going to be nickled and dimed if I decide not to do business there again. I parked too close to a curb and now have a damaged rim, is that going to be considered wear and tear or is that going to be more money out of my pocket... My advice to anyone that goes to this dealership, if your just going there to look, DO NOT give them your keys. You won't get them back unless you do something drastic like maybe threaten to call the cops or tell other customers while your their about the poor quality of service. Here's the best part, I wanted to talk to One of the Liccardi's directly about my experience but none of them would answer the phone or see me. They lack customer service and once you sign the papers, they don't care about you at all or what your problems are. More

John and the team at Liccardi did a great job for us. We were looking for a specific color for our new car.
