Liccardi Ford Lincoln is part of a seventy-year tradition of family owned and operated Liccardi dealerships in Central Jersey. In 1938, Salvatore Liccardi, Sr. began selling in Manville, NJ. In 1954, under the direction of Salvatore's son Clemente, the dealership moved to Plainfield, NJ. As they continued to grow, they needed more space. In 1970, Liccardi Chrysler-Plymouth moved onto Route 22 in Green Brook, NJ where they quickly became the tri-state area's largest retail Chrysler-Plymouth dealer.
The Liccardi Ford Dealership opened in Watchung, NJ in 1991 selling cars and trucks including Ford Commercial Trucks. They also rose rapidly in the ranks of New Jersey's top selling Ford Dealerships. Both dealerships sell and lease new and pre-owned vehicles. In recent years, they acquired the Lincoln, Dodge, and RAM Franchises at their Green Brook location and relocated the Lincoln Franchise to their Watchung location. They now have a combined inventory of over 400 vehicles, both locations have full Service Departments and fully stocked Parts Departments on premises.
Service is a priority at Liccardi. They have top factory trained technicians at both locations, they service ALL makes and models, and because they stock over a million dollars in parts, most services can be done the same day. Their goal is to "fix it right, the first time". You can also schedule Service Appointments online at www.liccardi.com, they also offer convenient Saturday Service hours. The Liccardi Auto Group is still family owned and operated by Clemente Liccardi's sons; Greg, Jeff and Kevin Liccardi. They all work in the Showrooms everyday and are involved in all aspects of the operations. That allows them to be in touch with their customers and their demands for selection, price and service. Great customer service I had made a phone call ahead of time and showed up late for my appointment. Sulo was still waiting for me . After listening to my wifes request for o I had made a phone call ahead of time and showed up late for my appointment. Sulo was still waiting for me . After listening to my wifes request for options in a vehicle he walked way up to the top of the hill and drove back down with exactly what she was looking for needless to say paperwork was all that was left and this is my third ford so I will definitely be going back again when I stopped back looking for my missing antenna he jumped right on it even though he had a customer Good people ! $2000 in hidden fees $999 internet fee! If you see a car on their website or on the Ford CPO website, they add $999 to it. When I asked why, our sales rep said it was a ta $999 internet fee! When I asked why, our sales rep said it was a tactic to bring people in & the manager said its to cover their cost for advertising the car online. If they're actually paying $1000 a car to advertise online, they need a new marketing agent! In addition, although the cars are listed as Certified Pre Owned, the price you see doesn't include that. There is a $695 fee that you have to pay to make it CPO, then that gives you the 7 year 100,000 Powertrain Warranty. That sounds great on paper, but those are the part of the car that never break anyway! It's a complete waste of money. Our sales rep was new (under 2 months) and very nice, but not experienced. He didn't know what anything was. The manager wasn't willing to work with us on the price. He stuck to the price twice until we started walking out & then tried cutting it down, but still nowhere near the price it was listed online, so we left. We found the exact same car at another dealership about 10mi away for $3000 less. Don't let them pressure you into thinking their prices are fair. They're not. I'm surprised they weren't included in the huge lawsuit against Rt 22 dealerships about hidden fees. More
