Liccardi Ford Lincoln is part of a seventy-year tradition of family owned and operated Liccardi dealerships in Central Jersey. In 1938, Salvatore Liccardi, Sr. began selling in Manville, NJ. In 1954, under the direction of Salvatore's son Clemente, the dealership moved to Plainfield, NJ. As they continued to grow, they needed more space. In 1970, Liccardi Chrysler-Plymouth moved onto Route 22 in Green Brook, NJ where they quickly became the tri-state area's largest retail Chrysler-Plymouth dealer.
The Liccardi Ford Dealership opened in Watchung, NJ in 1991 selling cars and trucks including Ford Commercial Trucks. They also rose rapidly in the ranks of New Jersey's top selling Ford Dealerships. Both dealerships sell and lease new and pre-owned vehicles. In recent years, they acquired the Lincoln, Dodge, and RAM Franchises at their Green Brook location and relocated the Lincoln Franchise to their Watchung location. They now have a combined inventory of over 400 vehicles, both locations have full Service Departments and fully stocked Parts Departments on premises.
Service is a priority at Liccardi. They have top factory trained technicians at both locations, they service ALL makes and models, and because they stock over a million dollars in parts, most services can be done the same day. Their goal is to "fix it right, the first time". You can also schedule Service Appointments online at www.liccardi.com, they also offer convenient Saturday Service hours. The Liccardi Auto Group is still family owned and operated by Clemente Liccardi's sons; Greg, Jeff and Kevin Liccardi. They all work in the Showrooms everyday and are involved in all aspects of the operations. That allows them to be in touch with their customers and their demands for selection, price and service. Stay away! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! If I could give a negative amount of stars I would. Bought a used vehicle that I was told was in excellent condition. Sta STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! If I could give a negative amount of stars I would. Bought a used vehicle that I was told was in excellent condition. Started the car on the lot after the sale, all the warning lights went on. I was told "Not to worry. This is a simple electrical fix. We will do it on Saturday". That was 4 months, 528 miles round trip for 6 service appointments and nothing has changed. Warning lights just come on and off making me feel unsafe in the car. I was told on six occasions that my car would be fixed and that a courtesy check had been done. Aside from resetting the computer and addressing a recall, not another thing that was said was done. It was almost comical to hear how Rob, Scott and Doug responded to my phone calls/questions before they could get their stories straight. I am amazed by the lack of honesty but perhaps shouldn’t be after reading the prior complaints and court decisions against the dealership on the Consumer Complaints website. I only wish I knew this before stepping into the showroom to spend my hard earned money. I was totally taken advantage of and lied to. Liccardi refused my repeated requests to buy back the car since they cannot seem to fix it. All I have ever been offered is another service appointment. I think 6 is more than enough. I am still waiting for them to do the right thing and take the car back. I obviously cannot sell it in this condition as unlike them, have a conscience. More
