I came in to look at new cars and although skeptical about the dealership and some of the reviews I had seen, ended up pleasantly surprised. I met James as I was walking in to the dealership and thought about the dealership and some of the reviews I had seen, ended up pleasantly surprised. I met James as I was walking in to the dealership and thought - here we go, high pressure salesman walking my way. Upon introducing himself, he actually stopped and listened to me and my needs. Within 30 minutes James had found the exact vehicle, within the guidelines of my budget and needs. We worked out the final price and he went to the desk for approval. He came back within a few minutes with his desk manager who simply came in to congratulate me on my purchase . James came back and explained the process going forward in regards to paperwork and the finance department. When I finished in finance, ( where no numbers changed or anything ) I was again met by James, who brought me to my new vehicle and gave a proper demonstration of my new vehicle. It is clear to me now not to base everything on a review. I have recommended Liccardi and James to both friends and family. More

Was in the market for a pre-owned vehicle and found one on the dealer web site that looked pretty good and was within budget and only had 85k miles. I called the sales center and asked the basic questions on the dealer web site that looked pretty good and was within budget and only had 85k miles. I called the sales center and asked the basic questions one would ask before driving 30 minutes. Upon arriving at the dealership, the vehicle looked pretty good however the interior was nothing like described on the phone and appeared that a homeless person was living inside. I left the dealership and received a call from sales the following day. The salesman said he agreed that the interior was pretty bad and said he could have it cleaned if I were to give them a $50 deposit that could be applied to the price if I purchased the vehicle. He went on to say that he took it for a ride and it was pretty solid but there was a problem with the brakes. The good news was that they found the problem (leaky brake line) and that the cost of this repair could be added to the price. I told him that I could not buy a car without a test drive and I refused to drive one with a known brake issue. He tried to sell me on other cars but I managed to get him off the phone and I never called or spoke with them again. I continued to get calls with no message from the dealership for about 5 days pretty much every hour on the hour. Horrible customer service! Horrible quality of the prep of that vehicle for resale! Horrible. I would never recommend this dealership to anyone that I actually cared about. I found a dodge caliber that I was interested in, called the dealership and they told me that they had the car. I anyone that I actually cared about. I found a dodge caliber that I was interested in, called the dealership and they told me that they had the car. I live an hour away so my boyfriend and I took the trip after work one day. When we got there they said the car was just relocated (I called about 3 hours prier asking about the car). The sales guy said well you came all this way why not take a look at the cars, so we did. We found a Mazda cx7 that we fell in love with and bought the car the next day. Little did we no that after having the car for 4 days the engine would blow up. After two months of fighting over the phone and numerous trips back and forth someone finally decided to do something about fixing the car. They also told us that they would make 2 car payments because we did not have the car for 2 months, then when we asked about the payments they now beat around the bush and have yet to make those payments for us. We had the car for about a week after the engine was fixed and now the transmission is leaking fluid and the gears will not shift in the car so the car is now back in the shop. Liccardi told us that they will not cover this because it was a "freak accident". There customer service is awful and they never return phone calls. They argue over whose fault things are and go back on their word. This has to be the worst dealership I have ever dealt with and they should be shut down. Do yourself the favor and do not go here. Horrible. We bought a used truck, it showed a warranty online and when we got there (drove from VA)no warranty-no brake fluid, they wouldn't even put gas in the truck...now they didnt send the title, very online and when we got there (drove from VA)no warranty-no brake fluid, they wouldn't even put gas in the truck...now they didnt send the title, very shady. We are driving around with an expired temp tag, and when we called and talked to used car manager who also says that he is the general manager he is rude, obnoxious and refuses to do anything-kind of what I would have expected in New Jersey. I went to buy a used car and I met Ray. He at first was very helpful, but sure enough as soon as I came back to do the paperwork his patience went out the window. Just beacause I want to know what I'm sign very helpful, but sure enough as soon as I came back to do the paperwork his patience went out the window. Just beacause I want to know what I'm signing and ask questions dosen't mean you have to drop your professionalism and start being rude. BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU'RE SIGNING. They pretend that there was some type of miscommunication and sell you a car AS IS. More
A simple problem turned into a nightmare. We bought a brand new car and within days there was a simple mechanical problem. Fine, cars aren't perfect. (It did however take three trips to get it fixed (w brand new car and within days there was a simple mechanical problem. Fine, cars aren't perfect. (It did however take three trips to get it fixed (we hope)). However, the customer service was horrible with employees passing blame among each other, arguing with us, blaming other customers for the dirty courtesy cars, and finally the GM trying to fix things by telling us that they sell 10,000's of cars and everyone can't be happy. We are not unreasonable people. We just wanted one person in the beginning to say "I'm sorry there is a problem, we will take care of it." Not "Bob's not here, this isn't my department, it's not my fault, . . . " Has customer service left the state of NJ? I think it has at Liccardi. Me, my family, and my friends won't go there again.
