Brought my car in initially without an appointment because the Check Engine light and many other warning lights came on suddenly. The shop was crazy busy and a time for it to be looked at could not be because the Check Engine light and many other warning lights came on suddenly. The shop was crazy busy and a time for it to be looked at could not be given, I ubered to a car rental (no loaners or rentals available) and then got a call around 5 that they looked at it. Tony Raia was the service rep and he read what was on the assessment which was a bunch of codes and numbers and just summed it up by saying it was an old warning code for a cylinder misfiring, they cleared the old codes out and said everything was good after 10 minutes of driving. They were able to send a porter to pick me up at the car rental place the next day so I could pick my car up. I paid a $200 diagnostic fee. 2 days later the warning lights came back on, I made an appointment and worked with Justin Mounce. He was responsive and kept me updated. It turned out that all the cylinders had carbon build up and needed to soak in chemicals to have it removed. He told me in plain layman's terms what the problem was. The car was there 3 days, a loaner was available, and so far the car is running fine. It was covered by warranty. I can't help but think that the first crew was not as thorough as they could have been and could have prevented some inconvenience and the cost of an Uber and rental car if they had identified the problem and resolved it. I have been coming to Liberty for a decade now and have always been happy with the service so I was a bit disappointed this time with the process although the end result seems to be fine.
