But the problem started when i noticed he took a picture of my drivers license front and back on his personal cell phone. That is not acceptable. Im looking into if that's illegal with my attorney. After that he continued to ask me my SS number a 100 times. He said i must have a freeze on my credit bureau because they cant get into any of them, so i left and went home to make sure there was no freeze or locked accounts. He told me to text him and let him know they were all unlocked, i verified it with all 3 bureaus and my reports were not frozen. I texted him that evening. The next day he called and said nope, cant get into any of them, so i called each credit bureau and verified they were available. Called jakob and he said nope still cant run your credit. Well something is fishy at this dealership, because i just realized today that they didnt try at all, because i get alerts from all 3 bureaus and also credit karma and also my credit cards alert me when someone tries to pull a report. So this guy didnt try at all....so what the heck is going on here??? I have a big down payment, already approved through my credit union and they dont want to sell me a car. And Jakob wont even respond to my text or calls now. Bad business practices there! More

Terrible Experience I inquired about a Ford vehicle online and heard back the next day from the salesperson Johnathon White. He seemed clueless, so he escalated the conv I inquired about a Ford vehicle online and heard back the next day from the salesperson Johnathon White. He seemed clueless, so he escalated the conversation with the Sales Manager Ron Harrell. I had followup questions with Johnathon that went unanswered for days. After a few phone calls with Ron, he told me what it would take to get the vehicle certified pre-owned. I told him that I wanted to ask a friend some questions first, and he got angry and hung up on me. After I got the answers from my friend, I left a voicemail with Ron about proceeding with the sale. Never heard from him again. I then talked to Steve (another Sales Manager), and was told he would get everything straightened out and give me a call the next day. Never heard back from him. I have never had such a bad experience working with a sales team. Such poor communication skills. They made it impossible to buy the car I wanted. They missed out on an easy sale. More

Liberty Ford Rocks! Purchased a preowned 2015 Nissan Sentra with very low miles and priced great. Carfax was available to review. We live about an 1-1/2 hours away. Talked with Alex Stanley over the phone and he was able to make a deal with us on our trade in. They held the car for 4 days till we were able to make it in. No disappointment here. The car was out front waiting on us to test drive. It was clean and ready to roll. Brandon Brady helped us with the test drive and paperwork. Very patient and helpful with all of our questions. Super pleased with the attention to detail throughout the process. Highly recommended. Very easy to deal with. See Alex Stanley or Brandon Brady and you won't be disappointed. These guys are great. Downtown Ford GREAT! Liberty ford not so much!!!!! I have been a loyal customer for years at Down Town Ford. Since Liberty has taken over the oil change takes far too long, the service department cant I have been a loyal customer for years at Down Town Ford. Since Liberty has taken over the oil change takes far too long, the service department cant come close to keeping up! What are you thinking , you can cut the staff and still accomplish the same service/ GUESS NOT !!!! EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!!!! Follow the example Downtown Ford set/ it worked,customers happy!!!!! Terrible Called to confirm details about a specific vehicle and told sales staff we were coming from about 2 hours away. Arrived to be shown two different vehicles other than the one I was coming to look at. Vehicle was supposedly “certified” but when test driving, it noticeably drifted to the right. Salesman seemed dumbfounded and was not knowledgeable about vehicle. Requested to have vehicle placed on the lifts but was informed all mechanics had left for the day at even though it was 30 mins before closing. He suggested that if we bought it we could bring the vehicle back for an alignment (4 hours round trip). During negotiations, sales manager offered us waaaaaaay below nada/kbb/blackbook value for my trade in. My vehicle was in good condition and fair trade in was between $11,000 -$12,500, poor condition value was $9500 - $11,000; we were offered $8700. Literally laughed at the salesman and sales manager and walked out. Five hours of my families time completely wasted. More

To put my mind at ease, I called a friend, who highly recommended Dave Ewing because he has always been so good to my friend and her husband. I called Dave and he invited me to come in that evening. I was amazed that Dave actually took the time to listen to me and did not try to sell me a vehicle I did not want. He also listened effectively about what I can afford monthly. He did not try to sell me an outrageous monthly payment I could not afford. In fact, he and his sales manager was able to give me a monthly payment much lower than I was expecting. YAY!! I did not feel pressured. Dave did not make me feel as though he was just selling another vehicle. However, what Dave did do was a build a friendly professional relationship, without lying! Thank you Dave Ewing for making my car buying experience pleasant. More
