I placed an order for a car well over a month ago. They assured me they had "Plenty" of allocation to place the order with GM. Yet after 6 weeks, GM still did not have the order. They either lied about hav assured me they had "Plenty" of allocation to place the order with GM. Yet after 6 weeks, GM still did not have the order. They either lied about having allocation, or for some reason they just weren't placing my order. But wait, you're thinking that it can take more than 6 weeks for an ordered car to come in? Yes, but my wait hadn't even started yet. I was still waiting to start waiting for the car. I was in line to get in line. So I found a nearly identical car in stock at a different dealership. I bought it. I told Liberty to cancel my order and refund my $2000 deposit. They refused. They said now they're going to be stuck with a car they don't want. A) You have to refund a deposit if you don't have a car. State law. B) There was no car, they didn't order the car yet, they weren't going to get stuck with anything. C) They wanted to keep my $2000. I get nothing, they DO nothing, they GIVE me nothing, they get my $2000. So of course my credit card company gave me the money back and is now dealing with the issue. It really makes you wonder, what did the people at this dealership hope to accomplish? Of course they were NEVER going to keep my deposit on an order they haven't even placed. If I took them to court, it would last all of 3 minutes and I'd win. They never had a real chance at keeping the money, all they've done is act like children, xxxx me off, and ensure that they get a bad review on yelp. Plus the credit card company may also charge them a fee for the chargebacks. I don't see the upside. More
I purchased a used car from this dealer and they promised they would warrantee and repair anything my mechanic could find wrong for 30 days. Well I took it back because my mechanic checked it out and found they would warrantee and repair anything my mechanic could find wrong for 30 days. Well I took it back because my mechanic checked it out and found it had 3 bad brake calibers which could be dangerous when I brought it back the dealer said no way and would not even consider fixing them. I also had minor little problems I brought it in for and every time I picked it up it turned out they broke something else like the rear compartment door and roof heading, etc. there was always something else wrong every time I brought it in for service. I eventually gave up and paid for the repairs myself. GM if you are looking for dealerships to close this one would be a good choice. More
