Oil change and inspection sticker I had an appointment and was running about 10 minutes late which they were understanding of that although it didn’t look very busy it took 3 hours of I had an appointment and was running about 10 minutes late which they were understanding of that although it didn’t look very busy it took 3 hours of waiting with kids ! There could be a few more kid friendly stuff in waiting room but my kids were ok I am always very happy with my service and my scheduling of my appointment and how accommodating they are to get me in with my crazy schedule! Great experience on buying a vehicle with excellent service. Terrible service, even worse car Let’s start with my purchase of a CPO vehicle back in September of 2017. After less than a year of ownership the check engine light has been on multip Let’s start with my purchase of a CPO vehicle back in September of 2017. After less than a year of ownership the check engine light has been on multiple times. The most recent time, the engine from my car was squeaking so I took it into the dealer to get service (at this point my check engine light was not on). I scheduled to bring my car in on a Saturday. While the squealing sound was being diagnosed, I also requested that the emissions sticker be renewed. The wait time was reasonable and the waiting room was clean. The service technician told me that my car needed a part that was under warranty but that would need to be ordered. I inquired about my emission sticker as I noticed that it had not been changed. The technician acted as if he didn’t remember that I requested it be changed and made up some excuse that he wanted to space out the time since the last emissions sticker. They wouldn’t change the sticker and instead suggested that they could replace it when I came back to get the part replaced. They said they would call me when the part comes in and said I could come back in on a Saturday for the service. I left with the anticipation (based on their promise) that they will call me when my part comes in. After nearly two weeks of hearing nothing from the service department, my check engine light came on. I called them on a Friday and asked what the status was of the delivery of the part and they said that they’d already had the part. I guess they decided they didn’t need to call me. Now that the parts were ready, I requested to bring my car in on a Saturday, I like everyone have a 9-5 job that prevents me from being able to bring my car in before those hours, so I thought I’d bring the car in for service on Saturday and get the car fixed. The technician told me that they couldn’t do this type of service on the weekend (despite the previous technician’s promise that they could). I then stated that the only way I could leave my car with the dealer was to be given a service vehicle. It should be noted that I’ve explained my inability to leave my vehicle overnight because I cannot get another ride home and I’ve never been told that a courtesy vehicle was never an option...I only found out about it because I was looking for other dealers to handle my future service issues). They said they could get me a courtesy vehicle, so I said I would come in on Saturday to pick one up and leave my car, but they told me they couldn’t do it then and that they wouldn’t have a car until Tuesday. I understand the delay because it was last minute so I told them that I would come in after work on Tuesday, but they said that the rental contracts have to be completed by 5 so I would have to come in sometime before then. This makes little sense because when I got to the dealer to pick up the courtesy vehicle, the only thing the technician had to do was grab a form from another room and hand me the keys....also, you only have full size Silverados as your courtesy vehicles...I guess it’s no wonder you don’t tell people that it’s an option. So the part is replaced and my check engine light is no longer on (it was related to driving around two weeks with the broken part). But when I asked if they had updated my emissions sticker they told me “oh we can’t update it if the check engine light was on within the last 100 miles.” That never would have been a problem if your service department had changed it when I asked them the FIRST time. None of this would have been bad on its own but the fact that I’ve had this car for lest than a year, bought it as a certified pre-owned vehicle, and it still has had multiple problems in a short amount of time is ridiculous. You can be certain I’ve told every single person who will listen how terrible and frustrating your dealer is to work with for servicing and how terrible the cars you sell are. I write all of this knowing that you will never read this and will never do anything to even take ownership for the poor products you are dumping on people. More
