The work performed on the car was done satisfactorily and in the amount of time stated. Here’s where the poor review comes in; the car was given a courtesy wash and the right front third of the license plate was bent outward, along with shattering the clear plastic cover protecting it. Didn’t notice this until an hour afterwards approaching the car from the front after shopping. Took the vehicle back and showed the service advisor, he admitted the car wash did the damage and would have the service manager call me the next day. Tuesday goes by, Wednesday, Thursday still no call but I receive one of those follow up surveys asking how was the experience? I fill it out on Friday night with a poor review explaining the above and that I request the Owner of the dealership to contact me. Saturday morning the Service Manager leaves a message he didn’t know he was to call me. A few days later received another follow up survey asking if my issue was satisfactorily handled? I proceed to tank that one also reiterating my request to communicate with the OWNER of the dealership. Next day I get a message from an operations director that the owner instructed him to call me (I’m sensing C.Y.A. here) to see about what can be done to fix the situation. I stopped at the auto parts store and spent around twenty dollars for a new sturdy full license plate frame holder, along with the new clear plastic cover. Fifteen to twenty minutes of my time in the driveway putting it all back together in between head scratches for the dog supervising my work and all is well again. So this was the first time ever using this dealerships service department, and looks like the last considering how this got handled. Not a good first impression at all. I’ll reiterate again; all I wanted to do is talk to the owner of the dealership. If the owner doesn’t want to contact me that’s fine, they’re the owner, it’s their business. The best part though is I’m the customer, and I don’t have to bring my car back for service work ever again. I’m sure I’ll find somebody willing to do oil changes and scheduled maintenance work somewhere. David Wright Island Lake, IL More
Beware of this dealership . I've been driving for 25 years and this has been the worst car related service I have ever had. First, Kia Sales lied to me saying an after market n . First, Kia Sales lied to me saying an after market navigation/ backup camera would be under the car's warranty. Then when it stopped working, Service refused to even look at it. More recently, they "fixed" something under recall. First they told me to come pick it up when it wasn't ready (because they broke a part?!), then they returned it to me with a steering wheel component not screwed back in. The final insult came when I emailed Rich Owens, Service Director, who never gave me the courtesy of a response (going on 10 days...) A woman in his office assured me she would have him call me or suggested I call again (No, I will not run after you to do your job). Go elsewhere. More

Liberty Auto plaze are charging unnecessary service charges, my 2nd & 3nd service, was The ever Worst Nissan center seen out of many Nissan centers. Liberty Auto plaze are charging unnecessary service charges, my 2nd & 3nd service, was done at liberty auto plaza the miles run was 8000, 13000 receptively. for my nissan sentra they charged around $180 &$300, My first service was done at 3000 miles in mossey nissan they charged around $80 and all other service done in Cole Nissan , Portage MI, i have done 5 services in cole nissan and its for $40 to $80 range. I thought the chicago was very expensive city and now i realized they ... I'm done with this dealership!! They have overcharged me multiple times. I honestly do not trust Ken. I will not return to this dealership. I don’t think their technicians are certified. I would suggest Nissan company inspects their technicians are certified. I go there with one problem and they look in to different thing and claims car is now fixed and ready to go. Customer Service… forget about it. More
