I was offered financing through Capital One my credit card company. I was skeptical at first because I have been trying to rebuild my credit. I walked into the dealership and ran into Q. Worst customer service experience ever. First, the salesman George Scott has the personality of a dead cat. Typical car salesman too. Very sleazy like. Plus, he didn't even experience ever. Plus, he didn't even know much about the car he was showing us yet he claimed to be in the business for 30 years. The dealership is just as bad. They sold me a lemon and also lied to me. I called George the salesman letting him know I was dropping the car off and I needed a loaner he said he would call me back. When I got to the dealership, he said they don't have loaners because service was closed. The manager also told me the same lie however, the day I bought the car, left the dealership the car was having issues so I went back and guess what? They gave me a loaner even though the service dept. was closed. I don't deal well with liars and shysters. Libertyville Volkswagen is both. I am going to get rid of this lemon and buy a much better car from a more reputable dealer with salesman who have a personality, actually know what they are selling, and take care of their customers. If dealing with Libertyville Volkswagen...Caveat emptor!!!! More
