Liberty Auto Plaza is an incredible dealership! They treated me with so much respect and put absolutely no pressure on me to purchase a vehicle. They are completely professional and trustworthy, which i treated me with so much respect and put absolutely no pressure on me to purchase a vehicle. They are completely professional and trustworthy, which is so hard to come by at auto dealerships these days. They had a lot of great cars to choose from and they were selling at fair prices. I would highly recommend this dealership!!! More

They were soooo patient with me when I was disorganized and indecisive. They followed up thoughtfully. They had the best prices by far, didn't play games, and were willing to do anything I asked. Can't say that about the Glenview Suzuki dealership at all, for example, who lied repeatedly while looking in my eyes. More
I was contacted by Michael McConnell a Sales Consultant with Liberty Auto Plaza located at 920 S Milwaukee Ave, Libertyville, IL on Friday September 7th. 2012 because my wife and I were looking to trade ou with Liberty Auto Plaza located at 920 S Milwaukee Ave, Libertyville, IL on Friday September 7th. 2012 because my wife and I were looking to trade our 2007 Nissan Altima for a cross over vehicle. We had already completed the credit application online and it was just a matter of us bringing in our car to get appraised. When I made it to the dealership on Saturday afternoon, I was being assisted by James a salesman. James was having difficulty locating us in the system and tried to for over 10 minutes. In my mind if your having trouble accessing your customer’s information, please ask for assistance but he failed to do so. So immediately I became frustrated and chose to leave the dealership. I did at least call Michael just to explain what happened and why I was leaving. Roughly 10 minutes later, I get a call from a gentleman who stated he was the Sales Manager. I explained to him what happen as well. He then tells me and I quote “THE SALES PERSON WAS DOING HIS JOB! SHOULD WE CHANGE OUR POLICY FOR ONE CUSTOMER WHO HAS A COMPLAINT”!. I drove right back to the dealership to discuss the matter with him face to face., While expressing my frustration to him, a gentleman with dark hair and a mustache wanted to interrupt me and give his thoughts. I advised him to allow me to finish. He then tells a CUSTOMER, ‘YOU CAN LEAVE”!!! Now keep in mind, the Manager that I came their to talk with did apologize but this guy once again told a CUSTOMER who was coming to buy a car, that they can leave. So myself along with a check for $10,000.00 and the car that we were gong to trade left. Michael McConnell was very nice but these other guy’s were exrtremely rude. I will stop at nothing to make sure that everyone whom I come into contact knows that Liberty Auto Plaza employ’s rude people who have no respect for customer’s. So far, I have told about 50 people about this experience and will continue to spread the word. More
Salesman was ok, they said they had their crack team go over every used car with a fine tooth comb to make sure the car is safe and road worthy. Has we were ready to leave noticed the head light was out so over every used car with a fine tooth comb to make sure the car is safe and road worthy. Has we were ready to leave noticed the head light was out so I had to come back the next day for them to fix it. It had a bunch of corroision on the battery and comes to find out it was shot as was the alternator. It also was leaking power steering fluid. When I went in to tell them about it the salesman to me to the sales manager who was outside smoking and told him the problem. He told me you got a great price on the car so they wouldn't fix it. I was pissed and complained about how customer satifacation didn't mean squat to them they finally agreed to fix the pwr. steering leak but I had to replace the battery and alt. I since after numerous problems have gotten rid of the vehicle and have been trying for three days to get a hold of the finance guy and he still hasn't called me back. So stay clear of this place. I had a great experience at this dealer. I went in after having been to several dealers down "dealer row" in Libertyville to buy a car and having bad experiences. The minute I walked in to Liberty, I was g having been to several dealers down "dealer row" in Libertyville to buy a car and having bad experiences. The minute I walked in to Liberty, I was greeted with a smile and "How can I help you?" Everyone there treated me with patience, kindness, and the best customer service I've ever encountered at a car dealer. I've been back a couple of times since I bought my car for minor service related items and those guys have been great too. I love the fact that they email me to remind me of my service appointment. This is a great dealership! And I really, really love my new car!! More

(5 kids in tow!) Out of that it probably took 1/2 hour to pick a car! Then we took the car and came back the next day after we called. He stated " See you later." We get to the dealership to find out the finance guy and Robert were out! Having lunch! We just drove over an hour to get there!! And I work nightshift and he knew that the day before. 3rd the theives cashed my down payment check BEFORE the deal was #1 Finalized 2 approved by us!! Proves they are only out for $$$$$$$$$ Do not use them, besides now the car has Numerious problems, Very slimmy dealership!! While we were there another customer was complaining about something, probably the same treatment and they called the police, What spinless jelly fish. More
My own experience with this company, I can only say about Amy Lewis. She is really good very professional, friendly and MOST IMPORTANT THING IS don't play the usual pricing game. Back and worth spending you Amy Lewis. She is really good very professional, friendly and MOST IMPORTANT THING IS don't play the usual pricing game. Back and worth spending your whole day, asking you how much you want to pay for the car, but for a fact that he knows he is not going to say yes for any price that you say. So he is playing the pricing game. If you think about normal "car sale man". that's not who she is. I will only recommend Amy Lewis, no one else in that company, because that's who helped me. More
We found a great deal on a 2008 Toyota Sienna and made arrangements over the phone to come pick it up from over two hours away. Therese was very helpful and quick to work with over the phone so we were p arrangements over the phone to come pick it up from over two hours away. Therese was very helpful and quick to work with over the phone so we were prepared as could be to make a decision on the vehicle when we arrived. It was late in evening when we arrived but everyone was friendly and the vehicle was ready to be test driven. There was a bit of confusion with the paperwork (some of which we filled out online before coming) but that was understandable since we had to work with other sales personnel than Therese, but for the most part all the paperwork went smoothly. The vehicle was everything that was represented online except for one thing, it was a smoker's car. That caught us by surprise. The car was such a good deal that we felt we could deal with that. Also, the car battery was pretty weak so we replaced that as well, even though it tested as an "ok" battery (we had it tested later on). Other than those two items, the van was everything and more than what we wanted. We would work with them again and appreciated the amazing deal on our new minivan. More
My deal was handled primarily via email which was about the only way I had time to purchase a new car at this point. From my first contact with Amy to Therese stepping in to help then Dwight helping with t the only way I had time to purchase a new car at this point. From my first contact with Amy to Therese stepping in to help then Dwight helping with the rebates, Mike actually picking up my Kia and dealing with the paperwork and then Jason taking me through the final steps I could not have been happier!! Everyone was very friendly, helpful and completely knowledgeable. I have to say I traveled about two hours to get to Libertyville (via trains) and Amy picked me up at the station, which was above and beyond. Despite the distance I will use Liberty Auto for service as often as I can; although I don't expect to need anything major for many years to come. I would highly recommend Liberty to anyone looking for a new or used car in the Chicagoland area (or anywhere for that matter). More
