I was referred to liberty auto from cars. com. I received 3 or 4 different text messages one from Isaac one from Jack and one from Robert stating I was approved by the bank with no money down. com. I spoke with Isaac over the phone and was advised to just bring my documents. Paystub proof of residence and dl which I did. Isaac then acted as if he could not print my paystub so after very unprofessional behavior another coworker asked me to send it to him so I did and .y paystubs were printed immediately. I then sat there atleast 2 hours after asking 3 times who was helping me at that point. After another 30 minutes another man I'm assuming a finance manager approached me stating they needed another copy of my paystubs from my employer stating my paystubs were not real, all because the ytd was a rolling ytd from the previous year. I pointed that out and was basically told I was a liar. How ungodly WRONG was this to even treat someone in this manner. I'm a single mother that works very hard day after Dat just to make it. Yes my score is struggling however they knew this when the illegally ran my credit report when I was not present to complete I'd verification by the way they never even asked me for my ID at any point. Something should seriously be done about this situation it was discrimination and very embarrassing to say the least. More

Our daughter spent 5 1/2 hours deciding on two different models, and the entire Libertyville team as well as Q. was patient, allowed us the time we needed to family conference numerous times, answered all of our questions in relation to both cars and made the experience a pleasure. We highly recommend this dealership. Our daughter bought her FIRST car and we are very proud parents!!! More
Watch out for the "bait and switch" with this place. I made the 40 min drive after confirming the car I was interested in was on the lot. It was not. They offered to match a higher priced car but the quote they presented to me did not include that price match or the $250 discount advertised on their website. I had to ask what price they were trying to sell me the car at because they only presented me with the monthly payment amounts which wasn't surprising as that's a typical shady tactic. You can "customize your deal" on their website - "Save time at the dealership when you start your deal online. From credit application to valuing your trade-in, you can accelerate your deal online, so there's less work to do once you're ready to test drive and go." This process does not save time. The sales manager, Richard, told me he did not even look at the "lead" or the credit application. While Richard was explaining to me why they don't use the KBB car valuation tool they promote on their own website, the salesman, Mike, was using it to completely under value my trade. When I asked him to show me how he got that number, suddenly it wasn't working and he couldn't show me. I was embarrassed for him for using such a sleazy tactic and told him not to bother trying to figure it out. I gave this dealership one more star than they deserve because I assume the Richard and Mike were only doing what they were trained to do. More
I've bought dozens of vehicles, both new & used; at dealerships, private parties, auctions and on the internet and this transaction is by far the most stressful, time consuming, overpriced vehicle buyi dealerships, private parties, auctions and on the internet and this transaction is by far the most stressful, time consuming, overpriced vehicle buying experience I've ever had. None of the promises made by the salesman, at the time of purchase were kept, until multiple phone calls were made, whereupon; most went unreturned, and finally a response and resolution from Steve Gjokaj. It took almost two(2) months to get results. The deal was wrought with "bate & switch" tactics. If I take financing, they could drop the purchase price, so they dropped it $200.00 and then threw in a $900.00 dealer prep fee on a used vehicle. The extra service fees on the purchase were "pumped up" over $1400.00 with a financing that was only purchased to lower the final vehicle price. What a scam! If your salesman is Daniel Hernandez, don't walk out; run out! Not only did he perpetually lie and make false promises, but he didn't even show up for the scheduled delivery appointment; and he NEVER returned any inquiries or phone messages left. He disappeared as soon as the deal was finalized. I won't be back! More

He had my address wrong twiceI corrected it twice .Of course he pulls up the sheets that had the mistakes. Well he made sure he screwed up my address again . Going into 2nd month ,so I wouldn't get a payment book. My house flooded so I had so much going on. . I never received my book Sean is a scammer he put the wrong address in on purpose. I get a call from collections if they're gonna take my car away in four days. A car I wanted to pay cash for call today8/8/23 still sean screwed up my address no payment book 2 months no book.This is differently a scam with them and Kia finance.so I owed $21,898.06. Please note don't go through kia finance!! They charge $4.12 a day and $116.53 fiancé fee. Plus I got a call i was going's to be in collections for a car I had cash for that day. Sean a scammer he has a system with Kia finanice finance. Sean go back to school to school learn how to read an address on a drivers license. You have it wrong twice. Or was it on purpose???of course. I went up there today everyone gets in a corner so you can't hear. They refused to give me to a manger. a very heavy set guy was threatening and extremely rude making stupid jokes I'm not high. I called The police he was very rude and threatening me.. Tell me how I owe $21,900 when I walked out owning $21.896.07 I made a $378.22 payment. Please be aware Kia finance change $4.12 a day plus finance fees $$116.53 . They police did say they were in the wrong gave me a case number for Kia finance.said it's out of their hands. I called Kia finance no book address is wrong again. But they are not running scam.. Lying saying I could of paid cash they wouldn't let me. The police officer gave me a report number this is not the end. I'm won't give up I'm going to the Better Business Bureau the attorney general and if I have to, I'll go to the news . I don't give up. 2 times wrong address great customer service team. GREAT EXPERIENCE WITH LIBERTY AUTO PLAZA NEW CAR PURCHASE A huge thank you to Muhammed (Mo) and Guillermo of Liberty Auto Plaza for the honest and transparent pricing and pleasant experience when p PURCHASE A huge thank you to Muhammed (Mo) and Guillermo of Liberty Auto Plaza for the honest and transparent pricing and pleasant experience when purchasing my new 2023 Nissan Sentra SV. Unfortunately, this is extremely rare with today’s car dealerships. Both staff from the start were respectful of me as a purchaser and did not treat me like a mark. In my first phone conversation with Mo, I told him what I believed the OUT-THE-DOOR price would be, based on what the MSRP, Destination Charges, Liberty Auto Plaza Seller price, what Dealer Doc fees (which are limited to $347 by Illinois state law) should be, Title, Registration, and Tax. Mo agreed and we were done. Just prior to sitting down with them when I arrived the next day, I checked out the unit I was getting to make sure there were no issues, test drove it, and Guillermo went through an orientation of the car. (Note to buyer-do your research of the car and specific unit before you call. Know what it should be priced and what you are willing to pay, before even contacting a dealer. They should respect your knowledge. Mo and Guillermo did. If a dealer does not, and still tries to push things on you, bait and switch prices different than advertised, walk away.) Both on our phone conversation and when I arrived at the dealership, there was no pressure, or add-ons, no push to finance with them, unnecessary services, etc. encouraged or urged for me to buy. We again checked the price I figured against theirs and they actually charged me slightly less than I had figured. In 15 minutes of sitting down with them, I had an agreed upon written price. When asked if I was trading in my old vehicle, I said, “Depends on their offer,” they appraised it and gave me an offer. They honestly told me that since although my car was in good shape and had extremely low miles for an 18-year-old car, I would get a better price if I sold it by myself. I thought a bit and then to not have to go through the extra work of selling it on my own, I accepted their trade-in offer, even though it was about $1,000 less I may get on my own. I was there an additional one hour for them to finish the final cleanup and prep of the new car, while I went through the paperwork with the finance staff. (I had only called them the late afternoon before about this specific unit, not giving them much time to prep it earlier.) Again, they did not pressure me to buy an extended warranty or to finance with them. When offered and I said, “No thank you,” we moved on. This is how honest, easy, and quick a purchase of a new car should be. I highly recommend Mo, Guillermo, and Liberty Auto Plaza. More
