I bought a new Tacoma from this dealership and worked with Phil Armstrong. When I took delivery, I noticed there was a plastic film covering both headlights. I asked Phil about it and he said not to worr with Phil Armstrong. When I took delivery, I noticed there was a plastic film covering both headlights. I asked Phil about it and he said not to worry, that was normal and would wear off over time. I got the truck home and noticed that one of the fog lights was not working. I looked under the truck and saw that the lamp was dangling by the wires (it was no longer plugged into the fixture). I also noticed there was some damage to the mounting holes for the plastic bumper cover and some of the clips that hold it on were missing. I contacted Phil and he said to bring the truck in so they could look at it. He also promised to reimburse me for my gas since I live 100 miles away from the dealership. I set up an appointment (through Phil) to get the truck looked at and then emailed him the day before the appointment to confirm. When I got to the dealership, the service department said that I did not have an appointment, but that they would fit me in. Three and a half hours later, my truck was ready. The film on the headlights would not come off, so they had to special order new headlight assemblies (which meant another 200 mile round trip to the dealer). They did fix the fog light and attached the missing clips for the bumper cover. Billy Morse in the service department was extremely helpful. When I asked Phil about the gas money he promised me, he went back on his word and said they don't do that anymore. He then gave me $20 because he felt bad (the round trip was $50). I also noticed a scratch in one of the doors and mentioned it to them. Billy from the service department tried to get it buffed out, but it was under the clearcoat, so it would not come out. When he asked Phil what they should do about it, Phil said "too bad, the customer already took delivery of the truck". It is nice to know that once you sign the papers and drive off the lot, this is how you get treated. I sent 2 emails to the general manager of the dealership, but never got a reply from either of them. I went to this dealership because they offered the best price, but sometimes you end up getting what you pay for. More
I orginally bought my car from Lia and recently had it serviced there after a bad experience somewhere else. The staff at Lia were wonderful, the customer service and experience of the staff was great to serviced there after a bad experience somewhere else. The staff at Lia were wonderful, the customer service and experience of the staff was great too! I was treated fairly, with respect and my car was done earlier then promised! I will not trust my car anywhere else from now on. I do Quality Control for a large insurance company and evaluate Customer service and customer satisfaction so I am "grading" people all day on their level of customer service, the staff at Lia was fantastic! Mike West was very good to my wife & I. He took extra care and time to make us feel completely at home. I would buy another car from him anytime. I think this dealership is fantastic! I've been going there for about 6 years and Ive never had an unpleasent experiance! I love how I always get reminders for when its time to bring my car in at my age there for about 6 years and Ive never had an unpleasent experiance! Both Mark & Morgan were extreamly helpful & pleasent, they both made sure I was up to date to the status of my vehicle the whole time & made sure I was able to get every discount I was entitled to. I did buy my vehilce from northway toyota (sadly) but luckly after my disgusting experiance there it was made clear that I never should return back! But if it hadnt been for that Im sure I would have stayed at northway because it is alittle closer to my house but then I would be missing out on the pleasure of dealing with lia. So thanks northway! :-) I do reccomend everyone to give Lia a try I can promise you will have an excellent experiance! More

Went to two other dealers in the area looking to trade my 2007 Prius for a 2010 Prius. I was not satisfied with the price they offered me for my vehicle, so I decided to try LIA in Colonie. I spoke with sale 2007 Prius for a 2010 Prius. I was not satisfied with the price they offered me for my vehicle, so I decided to try LIA in Colonie. I spoke with salesman Phil, he was nothing but courteous and then I met Sales Manager Toby who was also very courteous and he gave me an offer that beat the others considerably. Needless to say I ended up buying a new 2010 Prius and every step of the way Phil and Toby treated my wife and I in a very courteous and professional manner. The operation of this business is beyond everything and I would recommend them to anyone looking to buy a new or used vehicle. If you do go, ask for Phil you won't be sorry. More
This was my first time purchasing a new car so the whole situation was already stressful. After finding the car I wanted, it seemed that everything was going well. Almost 2 weeks after I have picked up the car and I have had all sorts of headaches that should've been handled by the dealership. No antennae was placed on the car, it left the lot with dents that apparently can only be fixed on Wednesdays WITHOUT an apppoinment, insurance dates were messed up and have to re-sign paperwork (45 minute drive for this), and information that was previously faxed over wasn't viewed until 2 days after (only to find out that new information needed to be faxed). I found this place to be extremly unprofessional and unorganized, and frankly would like to stay away from the service department in the future. More
Had an absolute horrible experience here. The manager was argumentitive and very condescending. While in discussion with salesperson, Toby came over and talked down to my wife and myself. He inferred we didn't know what we were talking about and told us to try and match his deal somewhere else. While he was doing this, another manager, Joe I think, well anyway he was pretty fat and just sat there eating his lunch while laughing. We took this "dynamic duo" of managers up on their challenge to shop the deal and not only did we match it, we beat it by 350 dollars. Whatever Lia family member owns this horribly run dealership....great job on your choice of managers to run the place. What a great building, too bad its run by a couple of idiots. We will never return there for anything ever!! More
Granted they give you a good price at LIA but that is the only thing they have to offer. After signing a “purchase agreement” with them and giving them a $200.00 deposit I quickly canceled. My sales person did not return one of my phone calls and for that matter, no one there returned my calls. I only received a call from the LIA sales manager when, I left my salesperson a voice mail stating it was my legal right to cancel the contract and receive my deposit back. I will never set foot in a LIA showroom again. The few dollars a month that you are going to save is not worth the hassle trust me. It was like pulling death trying to get that same sales manager to credit the $200.00 back. My advice STEAR CLEAR of this place. More
