Loss of sale I was ready to close a deal and willing to hear what Toyota financing could offer from Nick. The interest rate from Toyota was higher, so I indicated I was ready to close a deal and willing to hear what Toyota financing could offer from Nick. The interest rate from Toyota was higher, so I indicated that I would use my own financing. Nick said that my bank would never honor the rate because it was too low. He said he had not seen anything like that in years. He said that I could take the Toyota financing and refinance later with my bank (I asked my bank about this and they said it was not possible). After this, Nick offered a Vehicle Service Agreement at a very high price compared to those available from other dealers in the area. When I refused this as well, he walked away and closed the door to his office. I went to another local dealership later that day and they helped me through the whole process, which was smooth. For the small amount of money that is made from forcing people into higher interest loans and overpriced Vehicle Service Agreements from Toyota, Nick lost a sale for a very helpful and courteous salesperson. In addition, I cannot recommend that anyone purchase a car from Lia Toyota if there is any chance that they might have to work with Nick, which is a shame because every other person who I talked with at the dealership was courteous and honest. More

I dragged my boyfriend to look at every car dealer imaginable. Countless test drives and weird comments like "tell me what I can do to help you step into the car of your dreams" later- I found Allie at LIa Toyota. She was kind, knowledgeable, and patient. She walked me through all the steps of car buying. She also ASKED me questions about my driving habits, my family size, my daily round trips- to ascertain what option would be best for me! I appreciated that- as it was my first car shopping experience and often times I was just asked what make and model I wanted to test drive- rather then trying to learn a bit more about me as a person and what type of car I may need.
